Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available
for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting an elementary ASD
self-contained classroom. This contract role focuses on providing
specialized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
in a self-contained setting, offering a meaningful chance to impact
young learners' educational journeys. Location: Bristol, CT (onsite
only) Position Details: Full-time, 35 hours per week
(Monday-Friday) Contract duration from ASAP start through June 16,
2026, with the potential for extension until a permanent hire is
made Elementary ASD self-contained classroom caseload
Qualifications: Active Connecticut Special Education license
Experience teaching students in grades K-6 Proven background
working with self-contained classrooms and Autism Spectrum Disorder
caseloads Ability to work onsite in a school setting
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction tailored to
students with ASD within a self-contained elementary classroom
Develop and implement IEPs that support student growth and address
unique learning needs Collaborate with school staff, therapists,
and families to ensure holistic student development Maintain
accurate records and progress documentation for students Foster a
supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to
