Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide essential support within a school setting in
Brooklyn, NY. This role involves working directly with students to
assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication,
cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, contributing to
their academic and social success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive speech and language evaluations. Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to support student
progress. Maintain accurate documentation of services and student
performance. Participate in meetings and contribute to
Individualized Education Program (IEP) development. Qualifications
and Experience: Valid New York State license as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. Experience working in school environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in pediatric
populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
