Responsibilities - Preparation of ASTM-compliant Phase I / II ESAs - Site Investigations - Drilling/excavating contractor oversight, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sample collection - Soil logging/geologic formation - Soil sampling at various NYC agency sites - Use of field equipment (PID meters, Horibas/water pumps etc.) - Oversight of GW monitoring well installations - Construction activities oversight including excavations, monitoring well installations, UST investigations/closures, etc. - CAMP implementation and work zone monitoring - Field activity report writing - Assist project PMs with preparation of various summary reports and documents - 8 hour shift Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field - 1-2 years experience (entry level candidates will also be considered) - Must have a valid Driver's license and car (needed for field work) - Self-starter with strong analytical and writing skills - Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, reliable, detail oriented and a team player. - Strong communication skills required Our Culture: We believe in the power of collaboration.
