Rose Digital is seeking an Associate QA engineer with a focus on web and hybrid mobile UX. Rose Digital has a casual, fun and fast paced environment that is perfect for self-motivated individuals looking to build great user experiences with great tech.The chosen candidate will be part of an agile team developing features for web and mobile apps. Work will include producing test documents, developing scripts, executing test procedures, and ensuring the success of deployments to production. As part of the agile team this individual will work with product managers and the team lead to implement new features and maintain the existing ones.Additional Responsibilities:.* Determine the root cause of problems discovered in development * Contribute to delivering quality products as dedicated QA engineer on a scrum team* Own QA workflows and strategy for our cross-functional product teams* Perform functional, regression, and manual testing on web and mobile applications* Design and develop automated tests for workflows based on product requirements and system knowledge using our testing stack (Selenium and Appium with Python bindings)* Clearly document defects and provide detailed reproduction steps, artifacts and prioritization* Participate in daily standups and provide status of test results* Enhance, extend, and maintain test suites and test frameworks and tools* Create well-structured test cases and test plans based on technical and business requirements* Seek and provide feedback consistently and well, with an open mind and willingness to continuously improve* Contribute learnings back to the overall QA team through documentation and code reviews* Report detailed bug reports to JIRA and track the status of defectsQualifications* 1 - 3 years proven working experience in a QA Engineering role with active involvement throughout development / testing life cycles* Familiarity of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.* Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, and test cases.* Ability to document and troubleshoot errors for developers.* Embrace a growth mindset and share a willingness learn new tools and technologies* Excellent time management and organizational skills* Strong communication and collaboration skills* An inquisitive mind and continuous curiosity driven towards problem solving* Experience within a client facing environment* Familiarity with Mobile App Testing tools and frameworks* Hands-on experience in test infrastructure/test suite development* Hands-on experience with manual, automation and cross browser testing* Experience in creating automation test scripts using Python or JavaScript* Solid understanding of Software Development Life CyclePowered by JazzHREEL3EFDAGE
