S7 Technology Group is currently looking for a permanent, Director of Network Engineering with solid experience supporting mission critical networking infrastructure. The individual will be responsible for supporting S7's portfolio of financial clients. Why S7?* Industry leading service provider in the financial services vertical* Supporting mission critical and cloud technologies* Team driven and promote from within culture* Environment that encourages creativity and out-the-box thinking* Opportunity to mentor junior team membersResponsibilities:* Manage team of network engineers* Management and troubleshooting of firewalls and switches* Manage and maintain network security log collection, correlation and reporting* Vulnerability scanning and remediation* Wireless and wired network management* Work with Engineering, and Operations teams to define and document network standards and architecture* Serve as escalation point for any defined network incidents* Actively complete assigned technical projects and provide guidance and training to other staff members* Assist in formalizing and updating security policies, procedures and technical standards and auditing/monitoring compliance with those standards* Assess requirements, research, recommend, design and implement necessary solutions/tools to meet information security and all applicable compliance requirements* Serve as a technical and functional subject matter expert across multiple network domain areas* Stay abreast of current technologies, developments, network compliance requirements, standards and industry trendsQualifications:* Minimum of five years' experience in a Network Engineer position with two years of management experience* Proficient in implementing and supporting Cisco's ASA's, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches* Design, Install, Support and Maintain network infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, firewalls, switches, IPS/IDS and content filters* Implement and maintain security posture* Develop and document network standardization processes* Implement network controls and procedures to protect client information* Perform network security vulnerability assessments and resolve findings* Network monitoring and trending* Diagnose problems and solve high priority issues* Excellent oral, written and presentation skills required* Minimum CCNA certification required* Previous experience supporting financial firms a plus
