Job Description:

Software Development Support and Licensing: (70%)

• Coordinate development, maintenance and improvement of suite of products, License Server and the Support Portal system.
• Work on custom applications built using Python/Java APIs for Numerix clients.
• Control the creation, distribution and revocation of software licenses.
• Participate in the system release and distribution process.
• Manage the release of GA, Alpha, and Beta system packages to customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Developers, Implementation Specialists, Account Managers, etc.) to enhance products and services. Internal Resource Management and Leadership: (20%)
  • Provide Development Teams with regular status of the system technology implementation progress and help devise plans for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development procedures.
  • Conduct demos and presentations of new product functionalities to various clients and internal teams.
  • Guide and mentor Junior Software Engineers and interns in the team. IT Testing: (10%)
    • Perform testing of products in accordance with requests from Support and Development teams.
    • Participate in various release status meetings with the stakeholders.
    • Work with the support group to address issues raised by clients or internal users of the product, including doing remote sessions and preparing test plans.
    • Provide technical assistance to clients and partners in using the suite of Numerix products. ADDRESS WHERE SERVICES WILL BE RENDERED: 99 Park Avenue, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10016 HOURS: 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.; Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering plus 1 year of experience in the job or as QA Engineer or Systems Analyst.
