Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer
We are seeking a Help Desk Support Engineer to join our fast-paced,
high-performance technology team. Candidates must have a strong
knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, and exhibit strong written and
oral communication skills. The ideal candidate should be
self-motivated, able to work well on a team and possess excellent
interpersonal skills. They must also be customer-oriented and
patient to deal with difficult customers.
Responsibilities:
* Answer, evaluate, and prioritize employee service requests via
ServiceNow portal as well as over e-mail, IM, or phone
* Perform equipment setup for new/current employees
(hardware/software installation/Cell phone/Etc)
* Demonstrated ability to apply sound process to troubleshooting
and problem-solving incidents
* Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical
customers
* Work with technical staff to maintain Jamf for Mac managed
environment
* Work with hardware vendors for warranty repairs and
replacements
* Participate in new hire onboarding orientation
* Maintain IT asset inventory
* Participate in our on-call rotation
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years Mac OS experience
* Minimum of 3 years experience with Windows 10
* Minimum of 3 years of troubleshooting and installation experience
- software, hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, Smartphones)
* Interest in technology and understanding of technical issues
* Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Office Suite
* Proficiency using remote access tools like Zoom, bomgar, webex,
etc.
* Experience with ServiceNow platform preferred
* Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) preferred
* Ability to follow standard operating procedures
* Multi-task and effective time management skills
Certifications Preferred:
* Comptia A+
* Comptia Net+
* Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
* Jamf CCT
* Microsoft MTA/MCSA/MCSE
