Job DescriptionSummary/ObjectiveAt InfoArmor, our priority is to
maintain the security of our participants. As a member of our
engineering team, you will be working to streamline/unify existing
environments, maintain and expand capacity, work closely with
developers and stakeholders to maintain and grow the environment
with new proven technologies. Excellent communication and team
skills are required as well as the ability to juggle multiple
projects, document your work, master utilities and demonstrate a
strong background in Information Security. Essential Functions
- Automation first system and software administration. Ability to
scale effort to meet the demands of varied infra requirements.
Desire to use code as a source for executing changes and modifying
configuration.
- Incorporating, tuning and adapting new security features,
policies, procedures and strong systems
- Familiarity with a multitude of OSS tools and utilities for
managing, monitoring and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure and
networks
- Experience with deployment to secured facilities
- Recommend and execute Linux server hardware and software
configuration, installation, patching, integration, upgrades and
performance security tuning
- Support daily operations to Linux server such as capacity
management, performance monitoring, provisioning, and network
systems connectivity
- Define and implement automated system
installation/configuration procedures, familiarity with
configuration management tools (Chef/Puppet/Salt/etc)
- Experience administering servers, backup operations and systems
monitoring in multiple and complex network server environments
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly with
networking and the TCP/IP stack
- Management of all VMware based infrastructure for the company,
including its ESXi clusters
- Configuration and management of network storage technologies
including SAN, NAS and NFS
- Networking and network security experience, including routing
and switching, packet sniffing, managing SSL certificates

Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and
hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This
position regularly requires long hours and weekend
work.TravelTravel is primarily local during the business day,
although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be
expected.Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of hands on enterprise in LINUX administration
- Hands-on experience with implementing high performance and high
availability design patterns.
- Ability to configure and deploy server builds
- Linux shell scripting, understanding of at least one programing
language (Python, Java, PHP)
- Experience with creation and management of VMware based virtual
infrastructure using ESX/ESXi
- Strong experience with Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu)
administration
- Must have desire to learn new skills and work with new
technologies
- MySQL, MariaDB administration
- Apache configuration and troubleshooting Preferred Education
and Experience
- Hands-on experience with implementing high performance and high
availability design patterns.
- Kubernetes or other container experience
- Orchestration or pipeline experience
- F5 experience
- Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery
- VMware ESXi experience
- Experience optimizing environments for high performance
- Experience with planning for SLA-quality support
- Certifications are a plus Additional Eligibility
