Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits--- products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment. Mini-Circuits--- sells our products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive web site. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with exceptionally strong technical, analytical, organizational & communication skills who has direct work experience with basic RF microwave components & sub-systems (Mixers, RF Switches, Attenuators, LNAs, amplifiers, VCOs, etc.) in the RF products and/or semi-conductor manufacturing industry. This individual will work closely with our RF design engineers during the New Product Development Process. Once the design is complete & released for production, the individual will work closely with the design team during the product transition to production and remains as the focal point through the life cycle of the product. Applications of our products are for use in defense, commercial and industrial systems. Works with design and development teams and provides input for production testability (DFT) of devices using automated/manual device handling systems. Takes owner ship of the definition of production test requirement, test measurement sequence and frequency points to cover the required performance of the device while achieving optimum test time and thruput. Data analysis and correlation studies for test board level data, manual test level data and automated production level test data to establish compliance factors. Performs G R&R studies to perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) on required production test set-ups. Researches and develops test contactor solutions for production level testing meeting the production volume, repeatability and precision requirement of the products. Analyzes and trouble shoots all aspects of test processes and verifies calibration of the test set-ups. Works with direct supervisor, cell leads, lab manager, and internal/external customers to successfully complete requested measurements. Works with test programmers by giving inputs on new test methods and test equipment for developing new test programs. Transfers production test solutions to other production test sites and works with them in resolution of production test issues. Responsible for training of the user base and the equipment support personnel. Supports and provides solutions for continuous improvement of the existing automated solutions. Keeps tracks of engineering changes and updates the necessary documents. Keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in the related technical fields. Qualifications BS degree in Electrical Engineering or other related technical degree, or additional 4 years of RF test engineering experience. Minimum of two years of relevant work experience Experience with semiconductor devices, RF components/devices and RF characterization techniques, through coursework or hands-on lab experience Experience with Microwave and Millimeter Wave test equipment such as Network analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, Noise figure set-ups, RF sources. meters Capable of designing and documenting overall test strategies for device and component level testing Knowledge of operation of amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, transformers, couplers, ---. Strong understanding of RF and microwave principles Knowledge of automation systems and tools - robotic, vision, device feeders, --- Experience with data analytic softwares and Microsoft office Knowledge of Statistical Process control methodologies Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Able to work in a fast-changing and dynamic environment
