About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Operations Engineer with 3+ years of experience operating and supporting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform to join our Technology Infrastructure team. This engineer must have a deep understanding of cloud technology and will be expected to reach across the aisle to engineer, consult and troubleshoot issues as and when the situation arises.
This person will have a knack for understanding the interworking of a given service on the Cloud Service Provider platforms is desired. The engineer must understand the fundamentals of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and be comfortable with reviewing HCL based Terraform configuration. Adherence to enterprise processes specifically with Incident and Change Management is a must. An understanding of Azure Active Directory and the native Roles and Role Assignments on Azure and GCP is highly preferred.
In this role, you will:

  Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
  
  
• 
  Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
  
  
• 
  Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
  
  
• 
  Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
  
  
• 
  Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
  
  
• 
  Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
  
  
  Required Qualifications, US:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    
    
  • 
    3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
    
    
  • 
    3+ years of public cloud experience
    
    
  • 
    5+ years of application production support experience
    
    
    Desired Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      AZ-900 Certification, Google Cloud Certificate, or AWS Cloud Practitioner
      
      
    • 
      Experience with automation using Azure CLI SDK , GCloud SDK and PowerShell
      
      
    • 
      Change management experience.
