Overview:The infrastructure technology analyst / Wintel middleware engineer is a senior role responsible for assisting all phases of project across modules. Also manages all infrastructure related tasks and application specific tasks on the servers.---Responsibilities:

• 5+ years' experience in supporting applications on Wintel Servers and experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery.
• Responsible for on-boarding and integration of in-house developed or third-party Windows based applications into common technology stacks and processes.
• Responsible for deployment, configuration of middleware and 3rd party software on Windows Servers.
• Troubleshoot application performance issues and provide performance tuning services.
• Extend common set of monitoring capabilities to application support teams.
• Deploy firewall, proxy plug, Load Balancing, Wide IP and SSL for all applications.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary
• Responsible for overall operating system applications
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Skill Set:Any middleware / web server (IIS, WebLogic, Tomcat etc.,) support experience on Windows.
  • Troubleshooting the 3rd party applications running on Wintel Servers.
  • Knowledge of any Scripting for Windows Platform is a must e.g., PowerShell, VBScript
  • Applications / tools e.g., Oracle Client, MQ Client, Java etc., installations, configuration on Wintel Platform.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle DBs and be able to stay with issues & collaborate with other teams.
  • Knowledge of Network Attached Storage and Storage Attached Network.
  • Creating Shares and Permissions on Wintel and on NAS
  • Knowledge of SSO for IIS, SSL certificates etc.
  • Knowledge of monitoring applications like ITRS, App Dynamics, SCOM is huge advantage.
  • Able to troubleshoot and collaborate with app team, DBA and other relevant stake holders.
  • Basic understanding of SMTP, DNS, HTTP protocols
  • Should be a go getter, motivatedand should work on minimum or no supervision
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of .NET and Java applications
  • Extensive knowledge in Windows Administration on Troubleshooting server level issues.
  • Ability to understand and follow due process e.g. Change Control, Service Now
  • Problem solving ability, Quick learner, Good communication, collaboration with multiple teams.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, ensuring that both technical and non-technical people can understand topics being discussed.
