Job Description:

Seeking a Windows Solutions / Support Engineer to work in a data center on the following shift:Wednesday 10pm to 8amThursday 10pm to 8amFriday 10pm to 8amSaturday 10pm to 8am -Responsibilities:Windows Support Engineer to work as part of the Windows Server Team -3-5 years+ total overall experience -Responsibilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
  • Strong understanding of Windows networking technologies like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTFS File Sharing and Permissions, Windows Patching, etc.
  • Proficient in installing and troubleshooting Windows systems in a virtualized IT infrastructure within VMWare.
  • Experience with Server based technologies - physical server systems and components from HP (Proliant), Dell, Cisco UCS, etc.
  • Experience supporting Disaster Recovery systems running in a virtualized environment
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and technologies
  • Experience in following process documentation
  • Experience working with Antivirus solutions like Crowdstrike, Symantec, etc
  • Ability to triage and properly classify incidents and prioritize work efforts accordingly
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Track record of working effectively within a team, and support to peers toward improved processes and results
  • Experience working with support ticketing system like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc
  • Coordinate troubleshooting sessions with different internal IT teams and service providers -Nice to have:
    • Has worked overnight shift in the past and/or has worked in Healthcare industry
    • Achieved IT based certifications
    • Strong understanding of PowerShell or other scripting languages
    • Understanding of Backup technologies like Avamar, Cohesity, etc. -OTHER:
      • Reviews, advises and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
      • Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.
      • Establishes processes to identify, track, escalate, resolve, and report customer problems.
      • Analyzes the technical performance and reliability of products, systems, and services against identified industry standards to ensure customer satisfaction. - - - - -Powered by JazzHR
