Position Overview: Senior Security Engineer who is interested in e-commerce and cares about integrating security best practices in the DevOps & SRE frameworks. Work alongside the Engineering team to improve the security of the Client's infrastructure. Supports all of Client's brands. Work closely with IT, Engineering and Product Management to achieve business goals, while driving engineering excellence and best practices in our organization. The systems you secure and the policies you implement will help us serve thoughtful and delightful customer experiences in a way our retail competitors cannot. Responsibilities: Define a security strategy that improves the security of our systems and software Respond to security incidents and coordinate with our bug bounty participants You will be a force multiplier by giving clear guidance and creating documentation, or other work products to enhance the ability of others to develop and operate secure systems Integrate security best practices in the DevOps framework using Infrastructure as Code or other tooling Improve and implement AWS and Cloud Security best practices Improve and implement security best practices across a wide range of domains (including, but not limited to: API, Application, Container, Cryptography, Database, Endpoint, Identity and Access Management, Network, and SaaS Security) and applications to provide effective threat and risk identification. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar (or equivalent non-traditional training) and 5+ years experience Preferred domain experience in AWS Security, API Security, Container Security, Database, Endpoint, Identity and Access Management, Network, and SaaS Security. Demonstrates close working relationships with other engineers through training, communication and pair programming. Experience in at least one programming language.
