- Use Civil 3D or MicroStation software to layout roads, rail
alignments, flood barriers, drainage systems and utility systems as
well as site grading and earthwork designs
- Use Hydraulic modeling tools such as InfoWorks, Hydraflow and
EPANET to analyze and design stormwater, sanitary, potable water
systems, and flood protection systems
- Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for
design of the above elements
- Coordinate with other disciplines to apply skills in delivering
sustainable outcomes
- Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and
construction process
- Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining
approval at different stages of project delivery
- Engage with project stakeholders and clients to develop designs
thatmeetsneeds and concerns
- Support development of report writing, calculation packages,

- Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering, or relevant
engineering degree
- Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals
- Experience with CAD software
- Professional demeanor
- Good communication skillsessentialfor team-based working
- Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent planning and organization skills required for our
fast-paced environment
- Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new
challenges
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the
future. Preferred:
- EIT/ FE Certification
- Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
- Proficient with civil engineering design and analysis tools for
roads, rail and/or water systems
- Knowledge of Civil 3D CAD software and MicroStation
- Pastinternship or extracurricular activity in the field
- Personal investment in academic or extracurricular field Our

good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in
Oakland, CA is $74,000 to $81,000 per year. Benefits are not
included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for
candidates performing work outside of Oakland, CA will differ. Los
Angeles Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for
this job if performed in Los Angeles, CA is $71,000 to $78,000 per
year. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note
hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Los
Angeles, CA will differ. San Francisco Hiring Range - The good
faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San
Francisco, CA is $74,000 to $81,000 per year. Benefits are not
