Job Description:

Our Manufacturing client is seeking a Process Engineer in the Northern New Jersey area. The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that engineered systems are properly established and maintained for effective and efficient internal compliance and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for continuous improvement, troubleshooting, process-safety support on all process-related issue in production and packaging: PHA, JSA, LOTO, Procedure update.Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside of a commutable distance.Duties and Responsibilities: Process Safety Documentation & Discussion: HAZOP, PHA, PSM, JSA, PTHA, Internal Audits, Lock out Tag outProcess Optimization/ Continuous
Improvement: Kaizen, 6S, lean manufacturingIncident Investigation/ Corrective ActionsAssigned Program such as Hose Management, LOTO procedure etc..Equipment Troubleshooting SupportNew Product/ Process Implementation/ MOCProduction/ supervisory support as needed: SAP, Inventory management, excel data etc.Develop, Update and maintain SOP as neededOther Task as assigned/ Inter-departmental team collaborationPerform and Participate on AuditIndividual contributor who performs less complex engineering assignmentsWork is subject to practices and procedures covered by precedents and may require periodic review with team membersResponsible for safety of self and others and contributes to incident investigations when requiredUtilizes basic engineering skills and problem-solving techniques to investigate and solve issues of a low to moderate complexityCompletes conventional assignments which involve a limited number of easily distinguishable factors and the application of standard processes and techniquesRequirements:Bachelor degree in chemical EngineeringNeed at least 2 years of experience in a engineering role with manufacturing,Microsoft: Excel, Word, ProjectKnowledge in HAZOPs, PHA, PI&DContinuous Improvement Methodology: Kaizen, Siz Sigma, etcMinimum supervisoryAbility to multi-taskGood Time managementProject ManagementGood communication skills and problem solving skillGood team player and maintain a positive attitude
