Join us in our human-centric mission as a Retention Marketing Manager! - - As a Retention Marketing Manager based out of our NYC HQ, you'll build a highly loyal member base and drive a high monthly recurring revenue across that member base. Ultimately responsible for driving impactful communications across owned and paid channels to grow, retain and deepen members' relationship with TG-17, you're highly analytical and proactive and will craft and grow meaningful, long-term consumer/brand relationships with our members. Strategically, you'll be focused heavily on driving TG member retention, loyalty and re-engagement through the funnel - heavily focused on driving subscription rates, renewals and profit per member. This means heavy emphasis on LTV-based marketing, geared to improve member performance at each stage of their lifecycle past install; always using data-informed strategies and tactics to drive best-in class audience development plans and results. What You'll Do As a Retention Marketing Manager, you'll: Optimize key retention customer engagement KPIs (new member registration, subscription early retention, time in app, reactivation, etc.). Create, implement, and automate the entire customer lifecycle communication flow across key member segments (focused on push, email, in-app messaging, etc.). Consistently identify, A/B test, and implement new channel targeting, creative, and messaging approaches to optimize app engagements (e.g. early education for new members). Apply various data modeling techniques in order to identify the most profitable path to incremental revenue and user growth across all marketing channels." - Oversee incentive marketing and promotional strategies and tactics, always focused on the payback of those efforts. Maintain a pulse of how the business is trending through the funnel and in general, why, and fostering discussions around improvement strategies (always funneling insights back to top of funnel partners to optimize for strong LTV prospects) Experience You Bring Minimum 6 years' experience in customer retention and engagement marketing that profitably cultivates strong/loyal mobile audiences Experience vetting & selecting the latest lifecycle/CRM/engagement tech stacks (specifically designed for rapid A/B testing, flexible user segmentation, and implementation of communication tactics to those mobile users' segments)" - Experience executing effective lifecycle/CRM/engagement campaigns from brainstorming, to A/B testing, to implementation, to optimization based on payback Experience assessing relative value of owned and paid engagement channels to drive user life stage lifts Experience leveraging KPI dashboards for company-wide communication (and automating those) Proven track record of thinking outside the box, ideating and executing creative solutions to consumer problems BA/BS degree in a quantitative arena, with MBA a plus Skills You Have CRM superuser (Simon Data, Apptivo, SalesForce, etc.) Advanced knowledge of CRM development, best practices and design patterns. Knowledge and experience with modern project management tools and methodologies. Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup, etc.). Should be well-versed in direct marketing metrics, data analysis and response measurements Comfort level working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment We hope you'll join us! -
