Director, Client Growth New York, NY, United States Both the ad agency and strategy consulting sectors are in the midst of an accelerating disruption. Clients are looking for an integrated solution - a cogent strategy combined with rapid execution. We have a new playbook. Work directly with proven entrepreneurs in a dynamic, fast paced environment to help build a leader at the intersection of strategy consulting and growth marketing execution.
Who we're looking forAssociates and senior associates from top consulting firms who want to excel in a challenging, fast-paced, metrics-driven, and entrepreneurial environment. You'll work with, and improve, a playbook already proven in late-stage growth and venture-backed tech businesses. You will earn more, travel less, and work on interesting projects at fast growing clients. At the same time, you will work with the founders to hone this new business model and build this fast-growing business.
What you'll be doingHelp our marquee clients in education, sports, finance and direct-to-consumer industries to use our services to grow faster, by working with client executives and team members to:

  • Research the client's competitive environment to develop and provide context for our recommendations
  • Solve challenges with current programs and identify opportunities for new initiatives
  • Monitor program growth metrics and work with both the client and Exactius teams to improve performance
  • Manage complex projects for both domestic and international initiatives
  • Prepare and present program results and develop new strategies for sustained growth
  • Engage with clients daily to understand their needs and provide exceptional service

    Detailed Responsibilities
    Successfully execute the Exactius Growth Operating playbook to our clients
    • Effectively collaborate with Exactius functional stakeholders to drive results (campaign managers, product managers, analysts)
    • Track strategic, operational and cultural specificities of client and adapt approach to deliver on their business needs
    • Drive tactical and strategic reviews of opportunities and challenges with client's teams, including both marketing and executive teams
    • Identify areas of improvement for client's business above and beyond Exactius's key areas of focus that might positively impact goals; flag those to client
      Manage the whole process - from strategy to everyday operations to implementation of solutions
      • Effectively manage all elements of the project (weekly recap, reporting workbook, initiative planning and alignment) and lead processes with internal team (e.g., product roadmap, internal recaps, project briefs...)
      • Be aware of client's operating priorities and current challenges, and communicate with, and when necessary, direct tactical changes with internal teams.
      • Track daily and weekly KPIs of client's business, and elevate with internal teams when numbers call for attention
        Build capabilities and skills of Exactius team
        • Build the Exactius knowledge base by capturing learnings from client engagements
        • Use client experiences to codify the Exactius 'playbook' and strengthen our value proposition
        • Embrace new challenges and opportunities to expand expertise that will enhance overall Exactus capabilities
        • Help us to refine our product offering & approach
        • Identify and nurture opportunities to teach and transfer knowledge, expertise, and capabilities to internal teams and client teams
          Invest in building an inspired team
          • Play an active role in recruiting, onboarding, and integration of new talent
          • Invest in global team building
          • Contribute to creating the Exactius culture
            Help to build and scale a new business
            • Commercialize the Exactius offering by participating in proposal development
            • Represent Exactius as an expert in selling and conversion situations, speaking fluently to strategic, technical, and design aspects of the offering
            • Enhance Exactius's brand through external reputation building and marketing efforts
            • Invest in special initiatives and projects that help us scale the Exactius product
              The following are highly valued:
              • 3+ years of post-graduate relevant or transferable work experience, particularly at a leading consulting firm
              • Passion for delivering high-impact client results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
              • Appreciation for the role data and metrics play in growing a business successfully
              • Impeccable attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
              • Experience working in startups and other entrepreneurial environments.
              • Ability to rapidly absorb and interpret technical information.
              • Ability to communicate cross functional/inter-disciplinary teams including product, software, data and marketing
              • Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional agility, able to interface across any level of Exactius and client organization.
              • Excellent verbal and written skills
              • Insatiable desire to learn about new topics
              • Strong alignment with Exactius operating principles.
              • MBA preferred.
              • Top tier consulting experience preferred.
