The role

As a Teaming Manager, you will be a thought partner for our SYP leaders within our consulting practice. This role reports to the Director of Teaming, in partnership with Discipline Leads in the New York office. You will be our central point for convening consultants and syncing them with the right client projects, enabling them to flourish and unleash their full potential.

The work you'll do

• 
  
• At a high level, you will be a thought partner to leaders of the business by deeply understanding the skills and aspirations of the individual consultants.
  
• You will have a firm grasp on the day-to-day cadence of the existing work, along with taking the pulse of the incoming pipeline of potential projects.
  
  
• Your view encompasses the entire lifecycle of the work, and each individual engaged in that work.
  
• On a weekly basis, you are responsible for the discovery and maintenance of the information we will use to make teaming decisions.
  
  
• Your attention to detail and unending drive to uncover information beyond the horizon of view will be the foundation from which you help others navigate.
  
  
• You will bring a calm and thoughtful approach during moments when our high-stakes, high-impact client work creates demands on our people systems.
  
  
• You will present the bedrock of stability, always one step ahead.
  
  Desired experience and skills
  
  
  • 
    
  • 2+ years experience in resource management, traffic, and/or production
    
    
  • 1+ years working in a creative agency and/or consultancy with a focus on Design being a core part of the organization
    
  • Impeccable attention to detail
    
  • Inquisitive mind driven by curiosity
    
  • System thinker
    
  • Great at relationship-making and working collaboratively cross-discipline
    
    
  • Driven to solve problems
    
  • Comfortable engaging across multiple levels of the organization, from Managing Principals to Interns

  • Interest in diving into the details to sense make and see the big picture.
    
    
  • Familiar with 10'K Plans resourcing tool or similar system.
