Job Description The Senior Manager, Strategy & Global Market Intelligence is involved in new product planning and innovation portfolio management within the Global Commercial Development & Policy team. Working with the Director of New Product Planning & Innovation, the Senior Manager's primary responsibilities include development and leadership of a robust and integrated market intelligence program to support Seqirus long term growth strategy, and supporting the development of the value proposition for pipeline products, supporting the commercial assessment of new product opportunities, and leading execution of project plans for new products across functions. This role will work in a matrix approach within the organization and requires excellent communication and presentation skills. Major Accountabilities: Lead Global Market Intelligence program - Working with senior management, build and evolve a global competitive intelligence knowledge warehouse with cross-functional insights (Commercial, Research, Clinical Development, Operations, Business Development, etc.) to inform inputs and key strategic intelligence questions - Design and facilitate competitive intelligence workshops for senior leadership across commercial and other functions to inform market decisions and future commercial development - Develop mechanisms for consistent integration of Competitive Intelligence into relevant commercial strategic planning processes (global brand plans, portfolio prioritization, etc.) to inform decision-making - Working with senior management, build mechanisms for broader market intelligence related to influenza landscape, adjacencies, new opportunities, and key stakeholder groups to shape Seqirus long term growth strategy - Manage ongoing development and evolution of key strategic intelligence questions by working across and beyond Commercial Development & Policy - Develop Competitive Intelligence presentations for BUs and senior management - Manage external vendors related to Competitive Intelligence data collection Support the commercial assessment and portfolio planning processes for new products - Responsible for the assessment and strategic planning processes for various new products - Develop communications strategy and cross-functional activity plan for internal stakeholders across functions - Monitor short and long-term market trends of relevance to new products and continuously identify opportunities and gaps to feed into the organization's strategic planning processes - Support development of transition plans for new products to global brand and launch teams where appropriate - Help manage relationship with vendors engaged for commercial assessment of products Engage in Global Commercial new product activities - Support commercial planning processes involved for Long-Range Plan, Competitive Intelligence and New Product workshops - Deliver oral and written communications, develop and make presentations to commercial management, R & D, Finance, and other internal groups, as needed - Ensure compliance to Procurement policies of external agencies, including Master Services Agreements Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Life Science, Business/Marketing, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
