POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Global Social Media and Content drives and executes a comprehensive social media content strategy across all social platforms (US, UK, APAC, ROW). -They are responsible for being an expert on social trends & metrics, content creation for all social platforms. They should have a lens toward the global marketplace, and understanding of social content that resonates worldwide (US, APAC, UK, ROW). Our goal is to drive awareness for ELEMIS and best represent the brand in the social space with our customers-- increasing the size and engagement of our communities, amplifying our advocate community online and driving sales to ELemis.com or preferred retail partners. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Develop content strategy and analytics of the ELEMIS global social channels (current and future) scheduling, posting, and reporting on said channels Manage creative marketing direction of global digital and social content initiatives from conception through execution across platforms to drive consumer engagement Manage content mapping & full-funnel content strategies across Paid, Earned and Owned to drive measurable business results Find ways to innovate and influencer direct to consumer commerce through social media Work with cross-functional teams and external agencies / vendors on campaigns, projects and adhoc opportunities end-to-end - from forecasting products to creative impact of mailings Evolve and communicate an understanding of what messages work with different consumer segments and why via case studies, post launch content analysis and social reporting tools Serve as key liaison between Global marketing/Creative Team from briefing phase through program launch in our social channels with focus on organic social content - -IGS, YouTube-first video content (brand & influencer), get the look videos, branded content, digital media campaigns, and product focused content with a heavy focus on social media organic and paid content. Establish key performance metrics and consistently optimize content/campaigns to drive measurable business result Leverage social and digital analytics, CRM data and consumer insights to generate fresh ideas Proactively track trends in culture design, user experience, and social media Issue social media content calendars for global cross functional team alignment and timely execution across current and future channels Implement standards, expertise and best practices within social to inform and scale across all marketing and channel platforms Monitor and apply learnings for the ongoing development of global platforms on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Weibo and others Manage monthly alignment and bi-weekly meetings with markets on social and copy content/calendarization Act as point person for regional teams and support regional requests and projects including local event amplification on global social channels Support the continued evolution of the brand's social media strategy by owning the guideline updates Partner with Global Marketing team to ensure the global brand is supplying tools to meet all local business needs Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting and analysis of ELEMIS social media platforms using standardized tools and craft analyses based on the data Assist in translating brand voice and have knowledge of how to leverage asset copy across channels, then partner with copywriters and creative to ensure optimized channel-specific content contained in a campaign toolkit for easy tracking and approvals Partner with social platform solutions teams (Facebook, Google, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.), positioning ELEMIS to take advantage of alphas, betas, exclusive campaign services and emerging opportunities Stay up-to-date on new social media tools and best practices; monitor competitors and other social media leaders to see how they are using different ad products and organic content. Find opportunities for ELEMIS to be at the forefront of social media and be an early adopter of new technologies KNOWLDEGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCES -- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Must have an excellent understanding and knowledge of each social media platform from a brand marketing perspective, including platform updates, paid media formats, corresponding rules/laws, changing offerings, news, analytics, and reporting tools across desktop and mobile A passion for data, analytics, insights and trends and ability to cull through and provide actionable insights to guide overall global social media strategy across all media types including video and live content +6 years' experience managing social channels and building brand advocacy, ideally Global experience in a luxury, beauty or high fashion environment Experience working with social listening / management tools Ability to navigate among multiple platforms and communities to ensure messaging, strategies and goals are understood and met - Must possess pro-active critical thinking skills and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations and solutions Self-starter and have a keen ability to work on multiple projects with multiple cross-functional partners and teams Project management skills including scheduling and timelines and be highly detail-oriented, double-checking work with unprompted follow-through Professional team-player, flexible, positive, engaged, responsible, creative and willing to continually learn with the potential and desire to assume increased responsibility Excellent communication, writing, quantitative and presentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign Demonstrate a passion for the global beauty business, trends and the consumer experience A passion for creating content that engages with customers and creates brand awareness An understanding of the worldwide marketplace and cultural nuances as it relates to social media content Understanding of the ELEMIS brand, our voice, our products, and customer Mature, friendly and gracious. Able to interact professionally with senior management, customers, key stakeholders, external vendors
