Job Description:

Romio is a mobile platform to book "trusted" local services (Housekeeper, Runner, Dog Walker...) through recommendations from reputable local influencers, service experts and friends. Inspired by how Airbnb and Uber helped people turn "their spare bedroom" - and "their ability to drive" - into income, Romio's platform helps people turn their services and skills into earnings by leveraging local social networks. The company has a performance oriented culture and a group of diverse and talented individuals who are passionate about the company's social mission (several joined from category leaders such as Google and Uber). Romio raised $20m from family offices and global venture investors. As Director of Partnerships, you will drive results by unleashing company partnerships strategy, and develping partierships with local media companies (eg: NYMag, NYtimes...) and vertical partners whose audiences can use curated services (eg: ZILLOW, HOMEDEPOT...) and vertical companies in or around the residential real estate space. You will have flexibilty to close the partnership based on the potential partners (integrated white label, affiliate partnerships, paid or revenues sharing deals or hybrids). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record establishing, launching and monetizing partnerships with local mobile media vertical publishers, social networks, vertical brands,affiliates, real estate companies and influencers. You will be results oriented and have the ability and strong commitment to teamwork in support of the company's success, adherence to ethical business practices, and comfort operating in a start-up environment with an ability to prioritize and drive actions to closure. Responsibilities/Qualifications/Essential job Functions - - - -Reporting to the CEO, the COO will lead all partnershps and will have the following responsibilities: - - - -Drive the partnerships launch of the company product. - - - -Develop and execute an agile go-to-market plan. - - - -Deliver agreed performance within budget. Performance includes P&L, market share, and customer satisfaction targets. - - - -Partner with Business Development and Marketing leader to establish agreed mix of pricing, marketing programs, direct sales, and channel partners. - - - -Lead contract negotiation and legal activities: client contracts, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents. - Skills and Expertise: - - - -5 years + of business development and partnerships experience - - - -Bachelor's degree. An MBA or Master's a plus. - - - -Proven P&L management track record - - - -Established network of relationships with local media, networks and brands.
