Global Alliances Sales Manager NY/NJLocation: Remote - NY/NJSome of our most valuable business comes from existing customers. To gain understanding of the unique and changing factors that drive purchasing decisions, the team develops connections at all levels of a client's business. They use their insight to identify and create new opportunities - and to build the business development strategies that underpin successful sales. As well as maximizing revenue, they take responsibility for accurate forecasts.The ASM is a Senior Sales Position within the Global Alliances Organization who will work closely under the ASD within an assigned GEO. The ASM will be responsible for driving sell out opportunities within their Geo with the identified Focus Global, National, and Regionals Alliance Partners.What makes this exciting:[Responsibilities]

  • Supporting the ASD execution plan within the respective GEO:
    • Building local relationships with the Focus GA Partners
    • Establishing a regular cadence with the Partners to review opportunities
    • Work with District Managers to drive Division's engagement with end customers and targeted GA partners: -
      • Determine which GA partners to proactively involve in EMC campaigns based on GA Service catalog, and verticals.
      • Own the GA Account heat map. This includes identifying accounts, updating Alliance Partners, and maintaining document.
      • Responsible for meeting end user customers and delivering the Dell Technologies Alliances Value Proposition and corresponding Alliance Partners
      • Understand and execute on GA Service Catalog (a constantly evolving set of GA partner skills, solutions, core competencies)
      • Broker and facilitate communication with key GA partners to identify and resolve gaps & challenges, and conflicts within GA partner community.
      • Educate EMC division on GA partner ecosystem, capabilities, and the "why" partner engagement strategy (access, scale, and know-how). - -How your experience will help you hit the ground running:[REQUIREMENTS]
        • Minimum of 4 years sales experience, experience managing large complex sales engagements, (experience dealing with system integrators, outsourcers and / or service providers definitely a plus).
        • Candidates will have demonstrated a successful track record in their previous roles through overachieving their sales goals and customer successes. - -
        • Demonstrated ability to influence others to achieve results through a matrix and virtual team.
        • Broad understanding of the information technology industry, an in-depth understanding of Dell Technologies products and solutions and the ability to articulate the value of alliance partnerships within the Dell Tech ecosystem including customers, Dell Technologies sales organization and Global Alliance Partners.
        • Effectively interface at many levels including C-Level Suite Executives and with senior managers both internally and externally to Dell Tech.
        • Facilitated appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships.Benefits
