That s how many lives are touched by Novartis products globall As National Head, Radioligand Therapies (RLT) Account Management, you will be responsible to identify, activate, and enable target accounts to treat with AAA Radioligand diagnostics and therapeutics. You will build, manage, optimize and lead 2 levels of teams of Strategic Account Managers (SAM) and Diagnostic Account Specialists (DAS), nationally. In your role, you will oversee treatment accounts in hospital and community settings, across the 2 franchises, neuroendocrine tumors (NET) and prostate cancer [pending FDA-approval], under an innovative targeted radioligand therapeutic (RLT) platform. Your responsibility for treatment accounts include management, identification of new, prioritization of resource allocation, and optimization of efficiency within to grow national business potential and pull through in close partnership with the Head of Sales, NET & Prostate Cancer [pending FDA- approval]. You ll successfully lead execution of the Prostate Cancer diagnostic and therapeutic launches and change initiatives through the design/implementation of national, regional, and local business strategies and the management of resources in support of your teams. The Strategic Account Management team will focus on increasing operational efficiency and stakeholder coordination within RLT treatment accounts. Strategic input and short- and long-term business planning are important to ensure operational access for patients in existing account and identification of new accounts. The Diagnostic Account Specialist team is charged with forging long-term business relationships with key customers and influencers across PET diagnostics for both franchises. The DAS will be tasked with reaching target goals for the diagnostic portfolio through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Strategic Account Managers and execution of strategic imperatives related to the AAA diagnostic portfolio. General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Develop national and regional action plans to achieve sales targets, KPIs, and treatment site goals as well as monitor performance of franchises and field team performance. Foster innovation & breakthrough thinking in account management approaches and processes, and communicate best practices throughout commercial teams * Build, lead, manage, and inspire high performing Strategic Account Management and Diagnostic Account Specialist teams, across 2 levels, and ensure optimal allocation of resources to achieve goals * Ensure strategic execution and alignment to commercial franchise teams, and serve as a contributing member of the AAA commercial leadership team * Optimize your teams to ensure pull-through of generated demand, in close partnerships with the Head of Sales, NET and Prostate * Develop, grow and manage key account customer relationships within target accounts * Manage the development, expectations and accountability of high performing managers and team members through career planning, performance objectives, and mentoring * Develop strategies and facilitate the implementation of comprehensive geographic market plans for each franchise designed to focus on priority customers and capitalize on high value business opportunities * Ensure consistent execution of strategy & delivery of results by facilitating the integration of cross-functional activities. Minimum_Requirements What you ll bring to the role: Education: Bachelor s degree required; Advanced degree preferred Requirements and Experience: * A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience and prior people manager experience (minimum 5 years; must include sales leadership experience) required * Oncology OR Medical Device/ Complex Therapeutics OR Nuclear Medicine experience required * Account Management Experience (Key Account Management or sales of Complex Therapeutic; minimum 2 years) required. Previous commercial healthcare experience required: marketing, product launch, strategy & operations, commercial operations, or market access * Experience building and developing talent and high performing teams and leading and collaborating cross-functionally preferred.
