first. As the Director of Insurance, Risk & Safety, you are
expected to: Manage and oversee the Company?s risk from the
perspective of all operations where the Company is at risk (auto,
professional liability, general liability, workers compensation,
etc.) Lead the internal risk monitoring and reporting process.
Drive active and real time risk management. Maintain and improve
Risk and Safety programs. Monitor training programs and
assessments. Measure performance against key insurance compliance
metrics, auto safety and loss prevention practices across
jurisdictions in which the Company operates. Manage policy renewals
(and audits) for all lines of coverage, including insurer meetings,
collection, aggregation, and collation of all underwriting data,
preparation and submission of applications and all supporting
documents, negotiation of terms, limits, retentions and pricing,
policy issuance and review, and premium invoicing payment and
allocation. Manage claims investigations, claims coverage
determinations, loss reduction program implementations, claims
reporting, broker, insurance carrier coordination, claims
oversight, claims meetings and reviews, litigation support, reserve
management, settlement negotiations and authorizations, and claims
tracking and reporting. Insurance budget estimating and tracking,
for all Ambulnz entities. Analyze data from our in-transit vehicle
security camera footage for accident assessment and recommend
performance improvements.-- Keep precise data records
(accident/incident) from security footage in order to recall
details of events. Instill a safety conscious environment in
working with Operations. Make data-driven recommendations on where
to improve and manage costs associated with the annual safety
budget, P&L report and quarterly costs. Manage work comp
claims; report on claim trends and costs; develop and implement
safety campaigns to reduce company exposure. Serve as Company
representative in legal proceedings, audits, and investigations.
Advise management on best practices for safety compliance.
Responsible for overseeing safety on a nationwide basis that
includes loss-prevention, and accident investigation. Assist with
recommending disciplinary actions to fleet personnel. Conduct
yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner at all

Qualification/Skills Associate in Risk Management, Certified Risk
Manager or similar designations preferred. Minimum of 10 years in
experience in managing insurance programs (minimum 5 years in
captive insurance & high risk retention programs) for Companies
with large fleets of vehicles, showing continual upward progression
and including five years at a management level. Proven experience
working in full collaboration with multiple managers and teams
across business and functional units. Comfortable taking initiative
and being resourceful. Understanding of insurance management and
commitment to risk management as a profession. Complete
understanding of state and local vehicle regulations, including
those required by the Department of Transportation, nationwide.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Financial acumen including budgeting and resource allocation.
Attention to detail and ability to produce both standard and ad hoc
reports. Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and equipment for
potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety
analysis. Able to maintain confidentiality in matters involving
personnel and patient issues. Do you have at least 10 years of
