Through DSS, we aim to empower people through data and democratize data science. As the Sales Director, Commercial you'll lead a Sales Team with one main goal: drive the top line revenue of the Americas MidMarket segment, acquire new logos and ensure that existing clients love our product and increase their use over-time. As a critical piece of our management team, you'll be actively involved in reducing any friction to grow the company. You'll be in charge of building, coaching, leading, and enabling the greatest team that you can. As such you'll interact with the Region Marketing Manager, Head of Product, VP of Data Science, etc. What You'll Do:

  • Drive the top-line revenue for the Americas MidMarket segment by acquiring new logos and drive upsells by fostering the adoption and use for existing clients.
  • Define the Go-To-Market strategy for Americas MidMarket, by choosing the right verticals, territories, and partners and aligning our marketing efforts on the field with the Marketing department
  • Lead, coach, develop, and enable a customer-facing team of Account Executives
  • Be the regional steward of Dataiku's sales process to ensure quality execution at all stages of the sales cycle
  • Drive collaboration with a cross-functional team of Sales Engineers, Partner Managers, Customer Success Managers, SDRs, etc.
  • Attract, recruit and build a team of A-players.
  • Develop executive relationship with key targets / top accounts (Chief Analytics Officers, VPs of Data Science, CIOs, etc), influencers, strategic partners and being recognized as an industry leader in the advanced analytics space
  • Establish operational cadence of region - which includes weekly updates in SFDC, forecasting, pipeline generation & management, account plans, 1:1's and team meetings.--
  • Maintaining a high degree of transparency in pipeline management, pricing negotiations, territories allocations. Who You Are:
    • 7+ years of experience in Software Sales and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Management, in a fast-growing company.
    • Experience hiring and retaining top talent--
    • Genuine interest in solving customer problems and creating original solutions for them
    • Clear evidence of building & coaching successful teams - specifically accelerating growth in team size--
    • Excellent understanding of managing a sales process, including ability to motivate the team to self-create and close- pipeline management and time management skills
    • Evidence of ability to adapt to a fast changing environment, international cultures, and distributed teams
    • Tech / Engineering background, in addition to the human and customer-facing skills would be a strong advantage. To fulfill its mission, Dataiku is growing fast!
