Overview: Kingspan Insulation is searching for a dynamic, high-performance, Specification Sales Manager to drive sales in the New York City market for our full line of commercial insulation products. You will be educating, training, and building relationships with architects, consultants, developers, building owners and contractors. You will be focused on increasing product specification and sales. Primary focus is on the Kooltherm product line and Optim-R (vacuum insulated panels). Kooltherm and Optim-R are unique products in the U.S. market, and have been experiencing success in the New York City market, which is where this position will be based and will be focused on for sales. This is a salary + bonus position. This means less red tape and bureaucracy, making your work life easier.Key Duties Include: * Identifies, trains, develops and educates architects, consultants and contractors. * Demonstrates product to customers on a regular and consistent basis. This will include lunch and learn seminars, webinar training and field application seminars. Ensures there is adequate and timely follow up from such sessions.* Works with independent sales representatives to facilitate and execute a pull through strategy to maximize the sales efforts in the field. * Meets/exceeds established sales goals.* In order to gain short term sales, identifies commercial building projects, within the region, in which Kingspan's products can effectively replace a competing product, then successfully finalizes the sale. * Track projects in which Kingspan products are specified and does the appropriate level of follow up to ensure that the specification is not replaced by a competing product.* Effectively uses Kooltherm as a differentiator to gain traction with contractors and distributors who utilize XPS insulation.* Responsible for providing professional technical advice, services, and training to customers.Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university plus at least 3 - 5 years of outside business to business sales experience, preferably in building products/insulation; or high school diploma or GED plus 6 -10 years of outside business to business sales experience in building products/insulation; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the above knowledge, skills and abilities. Engineering or Architecture experience is a plus.Must have:* Strong knowledge and proven success in pull through sales strategy.* Strong prospecting skills.* Versatility to develop strong rapport with contractors, architects, and consultants.* Strong technical selling techniques; ability to build strong partnerships, and close sales.* Ability to read construction drawings.* Experience with business computer applications (Microsoft Office).* Experience with project lead tools and CRM, such as Microsoft Dynamics. * Strong leadership skills and problem solving ability. * Strong communication skills, effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. * A strong ability to work efficiently and effectively from a remote home office.IND123
