The Flagship Store & eCommerce Manager will be responsible for creating a grounded foundation for growth within our organization, playing a pivotal role in its development as a disrupter in the industry. Salary & Benefits commensurate upon experience.PURPOSE OF POSITION/ROLE* Drive and execute sales with a multi-channel approach, through both our flagship store as well as eCommerce.* Understand the commercial objectives of At Land, taking ownership of how the brand/business is presented to and engaged with by our customers, our internal team, and our makers and designers. * Be the face of our Flagship store embodying the brand with an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the business, both customer-facing and internal. OPERATIONAL/TACTILE RESPONSIBILITIESDrive the Business & Deliver Results* Responsible for all aspects of our NY flagship store, drink bar, and studio, including operations and team management.* Ongoing, in-depth analysis of sales performance across all channels, identifying patterns and opportunities, and translating these into practical tactics for the team, to drive performance.* Maintain constant communication with Retail Director/Founder to offer performance insight, client and operations feedback, and suggestions to improve and drive commercial performance goals.* Oversee and manage critical data and assets that feed into buying, online content, inventory, analytics, CRM and marketing.Leadership & People Management* Drive a culture of expert product knowledge and personalized clienteling, motivating the team to collect and use high quality data (qualitative & quantitative) to become SMEs, independent/creative thinkers, and cultivate genuine long-term relationships with clients.* Document, oversee, develop new, and improve existing processes to help increase consistent, high standards of service and efficiency in the day to day.* Oversee and evolve the growth of the team and internal resources, in line with business growth strategy and financial objectives, set by Retail Director.COMPANY CULTURE/INTUITIVE RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver the Customer Experience* Own customer relationships through an in-depth understanding of our current clients, while bringing a strong, existing client book, and strong ability to build meaningful relationships. * Take pride and ownership over how experiences are curated for all clients both in store and online.* Be interested & invested to self-educate on all aspects of products/brands/philosophies carried by At Land, building extensive knowledge (including creative process & sustainable practices) and encourage your team do the same.* Bring personal experience and learning to the job and contribute to the company's innovative and thoughtful approach to retail.Represent the Brand, "You are"...* Genuinely curious about sustainability, food as medicine, and deeply aware of the cultural/societal/health challenges we face as an industrialized society.* Design and art focused, with an indie vibe and a strong creative personal expression at home and in the world.* The friend that everyone comes to for style and design advice.* Passionate about changing the retail landscape, and infusing consciousness into the everyday.* Empathetic, humble and gracious.* Highly resourceful, always finding thoughtful solutions.* Highly self aware, on the path of personal growth, with strong sense of integrity and straightforward honesty.* Always organizing and refining.* Highly, expertly and openly communicative.* Incredibly fast learner, able to take in large amounts of information and prioritize effectively.* Not afraid to make mistakes in order to learn, open and curious about feedback, and honest in resolve.EXPERIENCEOur Ideal Candidate Will Have...* 5-7 years of progressively responsible retail management experience, preferably in the high-end or luxury market.* Proven track record fostering a culture of growth, development and excellence throughout the business.* Strong leadership skills with an interest in professional development training/coaching and a desire to develop and foster growth in others.* Strong ability to build and work with clientele in a genuine, connected, thoughtful manner.* Strong ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment.* Customer service expertise both physical and digital, in person and in writing.* Experience with inventory management, supply management, receiving, merchandising and physical space management.* History of seeking work in independent or sustainable design, with multi-brand environments a plus.* Direct, hands-on experience with eCommerce fulfillment and working knowledge of eCommerce content production.* Proven expertise using technology in roles, including but not limited to Shopify or similar systems, Social Media (For Business), Marketing Platforms, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Cloud/Collaborative Software, G Suite, Adobe Suite, Spreadsheets, Word Processing.* Food/drink service experience a plus.COVER LETTERShare with us...* How you want to play a role in changing retail. * Your personal goals for your career, through the lens of this role. * A recent lesson you learned. * Top 5 brands you love for home design and fashion.* Any resources so that we can get a glimpse of your creative spirit and design sense (social media accounts, etc.).* Your favorite self care ritual. * Your favorite meal. * Your favorite band or musician.* Tell us what your commute would be like.
