CIS PMO, this individual will provide program management support
for the build out of a new business unit, Institutional
Infrastructure Solutions (IIS). IIS aims to provide world-class
service to Morgan Stanley's institutional clients including
Multi-Family Offices and the Graystone business through
partnerships with Morgan Stanley's Fund Services infrastructure, an
outsourced Wealth Management CIO, the client's MS Financial
Advisor, and WM Operations. IIS specifically supports all client
service model execution processes including Client Onboarding and
Maintenance, Money Movement, Asset Aggregation and Accounting,
Billing, and Client/IO Reporting. This individual will also provide
program management support for initiatives within the Digital
Client Experience and Platforms (e.g. online planning tools, Morgan
Stanley at Work digital journey, etc.).-- This role will coordinate
across a multi-disciplinary team with a key focus on roadmap
creation, program delivery, risk monitoring, scope management, and
management reporting. The individual will collaborate with partners
in the business, technology and risk and control functions. Key
responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the
following:
--- Working with all functional disciplines impacted by the project
to ensure 'end to end' planning is comprehensive and results in a
project plan that will achieve stated goals of project
--- Provide transparency to stakeholders into progress towards
project goals
--- Ensure comprehensive documentation of requirements,
assumptions, changes in scope etc. associated with project and
establish an audit trail to demonstrate these activities have been
addressed
--- Provide mechanisms to capture & monitor remediation of any
potential risks. In addition, enable appropriate escalation of any
item that may impact timely delivery or cause a change to the
agreed scope of project
--- Ensure accurate and consistent reporting of activity, across
all governance forums outside of direct control--
-- Qualifications Skills Required:
--- Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of
tasks and initiatives--
--- Proven experience developing partnerships with and successfully
coordinating across various Business, Technology, Operations and
Control partners and stakeholders
--- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams where
there is no direct reporting chain
--- Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to
interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages
appropriately
--- Strong presentation skills, including ability to synthesize
large amounts of data and information to create polished PowerPoint
presentations for various levels of management
--- Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to
aggressive deadlines--
--- Eagerness to learn the business and understand detailed
requirements--
--- Familiar with SDLC processes (e.g., Waterfall) and Agile
Methodology
--- Experience working with cross functional teams, including
Operations, Technology, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
--- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project,
Visio, and SharePoint
--- Experience in Operations, fund services, Qualifications:
--- BS/BA degree required. Advanced degrees a plus.
--- A minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in project
management, product management or technology
--- Professional experience in the financial services industry,
Wealth Management, FinTech, or management consulting
