Job Description:

Store Development Store Development designs, builds, and maintains beautiful stores in some of the most coveted real estate in North America. We bring the physical expression of our brand to life by keeping client experience at the forefront of our decision-making processes and ensuring the success of our stores by managing cost, quality, and schedule. *This is a remote role.*-- Your role at Sephora:
As a Project Manager, Store Construction, and reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Store Construction, you will be responsible for all aspects of execution of capital project improvements including, but not limited to, new locations, relocations, expansions, and remodels. In addition, you will :

  • Collaborates with all key project stakeholders in Store Development (Real Estate, Store Design, Fixture Purchasing, IT, Loss Prevention, and Operations)
  • Review key lease documents in partnership with Real Estate Director
  • Review and qualify General Contractor (GC) bid proposals for recommendation to award contract
  • Collaborate with Fixture Purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of OSM in alignment with project schedule
  • Manage / oversee communication of projects by conducting weekly progress calls and ensuring timely delivery of weekly reports by GC
  • Manage the RFI process to ensure timely submission and response from project team
  • Conduct periodic site visits as necessary (5+ per project) in order to successfully manage the project schedule, verify high quality of construction, and deliver the space to New Store Opening team
  • Facilitate the timely completion of closeout package submission from the GC, and provide the required documents to the Lease Compliance team
  • Review all GC Change Orders and provide recommendation of approval to Director of Construction
  • Perform GC evaluation and provide feedback as necessary to ensure consistently high performance

    • 7-10 years of Construction Management experience, preferably within the Specialty Retail industry
    • Must possess the ability to work independently and set priorities with minimal supervision
    • Ability to travel up to 50-75% of time
    • Understanding of key lease documents and Landlord Work Letter exhibits
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and a demonstrated understanding of computer systems and software (Word, Excel, Smartsheet)
    • Ability to handle multiple projects
