Join Our Growing Team!As we continue to grow and help improve the wellbeing of the communities we serve, we're looking for an additional Sales Account Manager.
The Sales Account Manager will be a field (Queens/Nassau County Regions) and office position based in Midtown, Manhattan.
*This role will require the individual to travel frequently throughout areas such as Queens and Nassau County, Long Island among others, to help establish relationships with corporate accounts.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to use your own vehicle during work hours as well as valid insurance and license (mileage reimbursement per company policy provided)
The Sales Account Manager will be a field and office position. This position will focus on the acquisition, ongoing management and growth of corporate accounts throughout Queens and Nassau County. The individual employed in this position will be responsible for creating and cultivating ongoing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure goals are fulfilled primarily under the Occupational Medicine sector of CityMD practice, including Workers' Compensation (work-related injuries) and Employee Screening Services (compliance and regulatory testing).
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager, Occupational Medicine & Employer Services are the following:

  • Effectively communicate the CityMD value for all Occupational Medicine and Workers' Compensation services with the goal of increasing volume to CityMD
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to identify client needs and pain points, and provide tailored solutions from the various CityMD offerings
  • Actively prospect to identify qualified leads, acquire new corporate accounts, and increase business of existing account relationships
  • Develop and execute a targeted outbound territory sales strategy based on market analysis, industry trends and services to sell
  • Build and manage new business pipeline and track all activity in Salesforce, allowing for accurate forecasting to hit sales targets
  • Manage book of corporate accounts and strengthen employer relationships through account management touchpoint strategies, including calls and in-person business review meetings
  • Act as point of contact for corporate accounts, serving as their liaison to CityMD and immediate resource for support
  • Conduct meetings with prospective and current clients in the field, including company offices/facilities and CityMD site locations
  • Log all activities and lead/account information daily using CRM (Salesforce)
  • Meet and/or exceed sales KPIs and goals, defined by leadership, through new business and retention sales efforts
  • Collaborate with Occupational Medicine Support Team and Operations Site Teams to resolve issues and deliver optimal customer experience
  • Participate in special events including but not limited to health fairs, promotional events and conferences Qualifications A candidate's qualifications will include:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Health or other applicable degree preferred
    • 3+ years experience in sales and/or account management preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with clients and internal and external teams
    • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit who takes a proactive approach to business operations
    • Positive attitude and ability to project this around others
    • High attention to detail
    • Proficient in CRM (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
    • Frequent travel by car and public transportation is a requirement (approx. 50-60% travel)
    • Travel to conferences and industry events when appropriate (less than 10%)
