Job Description:

Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) handles BBVA's investment banking, global markets, global lending and transactional businesses for international and domestic corporate clients and institutional investors. 1. Summary of Responsibilities:
Provide business expertise in the development and maintenance of documented processes, procedures, standards and guidelines. Develop and maintain metadata schemas and contribute to the development of an enterprise-wide taxonomy. Perform information management assessments and offer recommendations to close gaps related to information management policy compliance. Collaborate with key stakeholders to review their information management processes and workflows.
2. List Major/Essential Job Duties: --- Support the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles (The principles)--- Provide training to peers, management and support group personnel in the use of Records Management systems--- Must have experience with information management principles and the knowledge technologies that support them--- Must have exemplary written and oral communication skills--- Must possess strong presentation skills--- Business and industry acumen regarding records and document management and familiarity with ISO Standards (e.g. ISO 15489, ISO 30300, ANSI/NISO Z39.85, etc.) and industry best practices--- Demonstrate expertise in managing the information lifecycle and applying information management principles, concepts, and theories to business solutions--- Experience designing, developing and implementing Enterprise Content Management solutions utilizing document management, taxonomy, content classification, and workflow procedures--- Previous experience in developing content taxonomies and enterprise search capabilities--- Must have analytical problem solving and decision making skills--- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing capabilities--- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities and work under pressure with tight deadlines--- Self-motivated and able to provide guidance to others--- Commitment to quality and customer service--- This position requires a self-motivated, creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong knowledge of legal information management and/or information governance processes and technologies--- Ability to explain complex and/or technical topics relating to information governance to those who have no prior knowledge of the systems and policies is a must. --- Provide assistance and guidance to customers with records retention determination and proper storage--- Support Records Management systems, ensuring proper identification and security for all information stored--- Respond to hold requests for records including conducting complicated database searches for information, retrieval of records, and providing copies to the requestor either electronically or in hard copy as needed.--- Evaluate and facilitate records management system enhancements to improve the search and retrieval services--- Approve and direct the destruction of records which have met their legal retention dates--- Assist in the analysis of electronic information systems and integration with records management systems--- Assist in documenting and protecting vital records--- Familiarity with eDiscovery and litigation processes--- Expert proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio is required and intermediate MS Access proficiency is required. 3. Level of Complexity and Risk Involved:
--- 5 years of information management experience--- 5 years of experience in a role emphasizing the development of processes and procedures for information management lifecycle practices--- Bachelor's degree with a specialization in information management, library sciences, technology or related field preferred
4. Skills, knowledge, and abilities/Competencies: --- Knowledge of Open Source tool/framework (SpagoBI, Tomcat, MySql, JasperReport, BIRT, Weka, JPivot, Kettle, Hadoop etc.) a plus--- Database knowledge, Iron Mountain record management systems and tools.--- Professional certifications a plus (e.g., IGP, CCEP, CIPP, CISM, CISSP, CRM, etc.) 5.
