has established a new business unit called the Diversified Business
Group. The Diversified Business Group is a solutions-oriented
business unit within the Company that will support Anthem and other
external clients in the pursuit of transforming healthcare.-- The
Strategy and Program Development Director is responsible for
identifying, developing and proposing strategies and tactics to
deliver on business integration goals. They are responsible for
owning broad integration workstreams and working with partners in a
matrix organization to achieve business milestones and goals.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Partners with executive leadership to define integration
- Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects,
priorities and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of
business goals and milestones.
- Creates and presents extremely high quality presentations to

to report and monitor progress against goals and ensures plan of
record supports strategy milestone deliverables.
- Develops, monitors and tracks metrics to track budget and

to senior team on complex issues.
- Works with the leadership team, department directors and
project business sponsors to provide a comprehensive overview of
capital and operational projects (overview includes the anticipated
overall budget for each initiative in the portfolio).
- Performs project scheduling, resource planning, leveling and
management (forecast impacts on staffing where project scope may
- Manages all aspects of change control and risk oversight.
- Develops an overall understanding of each initiative in the
portfolio in order to understand the potential customer impact and

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 10 years of related
strategic planning, project and program management experience with
knowledge and experience in the products and services of the
respective industry; 5 years of experience in a senior management
position; or any combination of education and experience, which
would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Ability to
