Additionally, we are focused on being the firm of choice for diverse employees and investors.The Diversity and Inclusion Communications Manager will work with the Head of Diversity and Inclusion Communications and Strategic Partnerships in the development and execution a strategic plan to drive employee engagement, education and awareness, and diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs. Additionally, the D&I Communications Manager will work with our key external partners on communications opportunities and enhance our brand as an employer of choice.The Manager will generate new ideas, and lead and persuade others in a highly matrixed, creative environment. In this role, it is essential to drive alignment across different business functions, think quickly and act decisively in a fast-paced environment while responding to continuous shifts across the business.This position requires an understanding of nuanced communications and being an excellent relationship manager to constituents across multiple areas of the organization. The position also requires attention to detail, organization, high-volume output, and experience with digital media platforms such as JIVE and Adobe. This leader must be culturally fluent and sensitive to the needs of various diverse communities within and across Morgan Stanley.Responsibilities:* Partner with the Head of Diversity and Inclusion Communications and Strategic Partnerships on the development, management and execution, of the Firm's D&I communication strategy and initiatives.* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to highlight our commitment to engage, inspire and empower our talent, clients and communities. Key partners include: Diversity and Inclusion Business Advisors, Corporate Communications, Marketing, HR, and Talent Management.* Develop and maintain content; design and maintain an integrated communications plan; leverage various communications channels to speak to employees, recruits and clients.* Create messaging and communications that are tailored to the audience and written in simple to understand, relatable, and authentic way.* Maintain and refresh content across all Diversity and Inclusion communications platforms.* Continuously challenge the messaging and channels to keep content fresh; oversee social media messaging and website platforms. Champion new, creative ideas through well structured, data-driven, and clearly articulated points of view.* Manage data and repository of Firm policies for diversity-related RFPs and DDQs* Develop C-Suite level presentations for Global Diversity & Inclusion leadershipRequirements:* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, HR, Business or a related field* 4 years professional work experience* 2 years additional experience in lieu of a degree* Ability to influence and drive positive change as an effective business partner* Skilled in organizational consulting* Impeccable presentation and communication skills* Skilled in diversity, equity, and inclusion theories and practices* Experience executing Communications and/or D&I initiatives* Advanced PowerPoint/presentation skills
