Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Paid Search (Search Engine Marketing) with e-commerce experience to join our team and manage clients across different industries. The ideal candidate is someone who will take initiative and find ways to solve problems to drive results. SEM is a huge growth driver for our fast-scaling clients and accounts for a large percentage of total marketing spend. We're looking for a highly analytical and strategic digital marketer who can help us optimize our SEM campaigns and take them to even greater heights. What You'll Do -- Drive rapid SEM growth while meeting profitability targets. You'll be handling all the day-to-day management of digital media search campaigns with a heavy focus on getting the best ROI. -- Manage large & smaller paid search campaigns across many industries and clients Optimize our bidding strategy across thousands of keywords in various industries. -- Set the strategic direction for internal tools to scale and automate campaign creation, bidding, etc. and work closely with our engineering team to implement them -- Work with our team to continually test the full SEM funnel, including ad copy and landing page optimization and remarketing -- Creating, deploying, and optimizing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms and performing market research. You will build and manage the builds of new google Ads accounts. -- Integrate PPC best practices and innovative strategies for all Google AdWords/ Paid Campaigns Who You Are -- A paid search leader. You bring extensive paid search and general digital marketing expertise. -- A strategic thinker and strong communicator. You're equally comfortable in the weeds and thinking big picture. You'll be asked to identify the high-level risks and opportunities for the channel. -- A driver for growth. You'll be tasked with quickly scaling one of our most important, highest potential marketing channels. You're the kind of person who thrives on that challenge. You're extremely proactive and gritty, and you make the most of what you have. Skills and Requirements -- 3-7 Years of Google Ads Experience Required (actively building and managing accounts) -- Experience in digital marketing and e-commerce--(including shopping ads) -- Strong Experience and success with Google Ads (AdWords) including account builds and ongoing management. -- History of achieving profitable ROAS for clients -- Comfortable using Google Analytics -- Ability to analyze data to optimize for strong performance -- Ability to conduct keyword research, analysis, and keyword expansion for clients -- Learn and understand client's business and competition -- Stay informed with Paid Search industry best practices, new trends and technologies, and platform updates -- Highly self-motivated, resourceful, self-starter, with the ability to think outside the box -- Ability to work in a fast-paced, open, and entrepreneurial environment -- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills -- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -- Working knowledge of full-funnel digital advertising technology, including targeting, remarketing, conversion tracking, and more -- Both agency and in-house experience is a plus -- Experience with Bing and other paid search platforms is a plus
