About the roleSERHANT. is looking for a Director of Social Media to oversee SERHANT.'s social media strategy across numerous channels. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge in social media, marketing, paid media buying, and brand management.
As a key leader in SERHANT. Studios, the Director of Social Media will translate strategic brand and partner objectives into high-performing, cross-platform media strategies that drive results for the company and our myriad partners. This person should have a healthy balance of creative and analytical skills, plus broad-based media experience. We are seeking a curious, proactive self-starter with outstanding project management skills, organization, and attention to detail. This person will work in close contact with multiple internal departments to help define publishing strategies and will interface directly with partner representatives to update them on the progress of their respective campaigns. Responsibilities:

  • Bringing our brand to life by defining a best-in-class social strategy and building a golden standard for content across our social channels
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch and promote brand and partner campaigns and initiatives
  • Consulting directly with clients to develop recommendations for new social initiatives and engagement strategies
  • Ensuring there is a strategic relationship with clients, providing insight and partnership across all aspects of the communications spectrum
  • Conducting in-person strategy sessions and workshops for internal staff and providing ongoing support in terms of brainstorming and recommendations
  • Managing internal and external paid social campaigns end-to-end, inclusive of planning, execution, optimization and reporting
  • Managing one direct report that will assist in day to day job responsibilities
  • Participating in weekly client communications and presentations in conjunction with the account management team
  • Owning all standard operating procedures, systems, processes and documentation/guides pertaining to SERHANT.'s social media channels and best practices
  • Keeping current with industry news, digital trends, platforms and experiences that can inform planning, drive innovation and social account performance
  • Partnering with PR and Creative teams on major initiatives and 360 campaigns
  • Overseeing the creation of visual assets and posts to ensure content is appealing and adheres to brand guidelinesQualifications:
    • 7+ years of social media marketing, helping define world-class brands across social platforms with smart, engaging strategies and content.
    • 5+ years in leadership and development, directly leading, managing, and inspiring teams
    • Comprehensive understanding of and fluency across social platforms, including video-based social media platforms, features, and formats, specifically TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Instagram Reels
    • Experience Implementing and managing paid campaigns using online tools including Business Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
    • Client service experience in an agency environment; experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team
    • Proven ability to develop and grow social communities
    • You can command a room: Brainstorm, conceptualize and present new social media and digital programs/plans for clients.
    • High EQ with proven experience in building social communities inclusive of large and diverse audiences
    • Experience in crafting or redesigning processes/systems
    • Ability to build collaborative relationships and manage multiple brands and stakeholders with different needs and goals
    • Ability to lead and manage parallel projects and work effectively with multiple stakeholders
    • Quick learner with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Airtable & Keynote; basic understanding of Adobe CS InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); and knowledge using a variety of social publishing, listening, and reporting tools
