Job Description:

Urban Projects Collaborative (UPC) is an owner---s representative firm that partners with clients engaged in developing capital projects and real estate improvements. UPC is growing and is looking for experienced real estate professionals to join the project management team.UPC is seeking a motivated team player who is detail-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic and self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills to fill our Project Manager role. The Project Manager will work alongside one or more other team members depending on the type and number of projects assigned and in collaboration with other members of the team, deliver project management services in keeping with UPC---s vision and principles.--Overview of Responsibilities & Expectations for the Role

  • Support the Project team including principals and senior project managers as required
  • Work to help define project vision, goals and scope of work
  • Support the balancing of project vision, scope, budget and schedule
  • Ensure consistent quality, relevance and accuracy of project deliverables
  • Support the project team in addressing client requests
  • Work proactively to avert or diagnose and address project challenges or complications
  • Support oversight of the work of design and construction teams for successful project delivery
  • Support the project team through transition from construction closeout to operations at the end of each project
  • Internal team coordination on --- weekly meetings, weekly/monthly reports, coordination between Project Management and Project Controls
  • Document management --- coordinating flow of documents between project team, client and consultants
  • Request for Proposals (RFP) --- assist with production, writing, review and leveling of proposalsAs a UPC team member, participate in UPC Strategy, Operations and Business Development as described below:
    • Engage with the rest of the UPC team in helping to establish long term strategy and annual firm goals
    • Shared responsibility with the UPC team in overall firm operationsCandidates with the following skillset, in addition to the stated qualifications will be prioritized:
      • Exceptional people and task coordination skills
      • Excellent communication skills, including clear, concise writing and editing
      • Extremely organized (particularly for file management)
      • Experience with design and/or construction
      • Experience with reviewing and maintaining project budgets
      • Discrete, flexible and a demonstrated willingness to do administrative work specific to the project (meeting minutes, correspondence and memos).Qualifications & Experience
        • Bachelor---s degree preferred, with a minimum 3 years--- experience role in the construction and development
