They currently have over $50B office, retail, logistics, industrial, and residential properties. They are looking for a strong Regional Technical Manager and Asset Services (NY) to join the growing industrial team. DescriptionThe Regional Technical Manager and Asset Services (NY) will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate with third party contractors in providing comprehensive building setup and operations management, financial budgeting and expense controls, technical contract and procurement management for property-related services within the property/portfolio
  • Manage project deliverables and act as the focal point for Asset Management, Government Authorities, Business Partners and Tenant service support liaison on Technical matters
  • Where necessary, act as the Project Manager on mechanical systems or other building projects
  • Provide management oversight of preventative maintenance plan/activities to ensure contractors/vendors and technicians meet quality standards
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining facility construction and design standards
  • Keeps abreast of latest technology to further improve cost or performance of facility systems, propose, plan and coordinate capital asset enhancement/upgrade projects
  • Ensures health and safety practices are followed closely in all work environments including but not limited to issues related to mechanical, electrical, fire, chemical and other hazardsProfileThe ideal Regional Technical Manager and Asset Services (NY) will:
    • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent, in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or Construction Management
    • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience
    • Management experience in operational/technical facilities or construction experience managing a multi-state and/or multi-site portfolio of high rise commercial, industrial, and/or multifamily properties
    • Excellent understanding of building systems
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, architectural plans, and financial reports as well as proficiency to fully understand drawing/drafting practices, utilize engineering standards of design, creating scopes of work, construction and to effectively use a CAD system
    • Experience in estimating
    • High level of independence, as well as excellent leadership and collaboration skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Effective organization and time management skills
    • Interest in continuous improvement in processes and performance along with a high degree of attention to detail
    • Proficiency with project management software Proficient as well as MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Job OfferBase + Bonus + Benefits
