Position SummarySr. Manager IT Systems role with CVS Health's Retail Pharmacy division that is driven by a vision to "improve the quality of human life" of those we serve by making innovative and high-quality health and pharmacy services safe, affordable and easy to access. The team is looking for a self-driven individual with technical acumen supported by exceptionally strong communication and management skills to lead an Agile team which is aligned with CVS Health's business strategies. Reporting to the Director IT Engineering, this individual will lead the Agile team of fulltime/contract individuals in their execution of initiatives/programs within the Retail Pharmacy systems area. The Sr. Manager IT Systems is responsible for the management of Agile engineering activities as well as overall application delivery for the aligned programs. Strong Leadership and Governance is key as the team is comprised of both onshore and offshore resources. The Sr. Manager will partner and build trusted relationships with the Busines Partners, PMO, Architecture, and Technology teams to ensure all needs are met for application delivery. The Application Development team works in a strong matrix organization with these teams to ensure on-time project delivery and uptime of Production, Performance testing, and all non-production environments. The Sr. Manager will drive all aspects of software engineering for software delivered via Agile, Iterative and/or XP methodologies, as required.Required Qualifications8+ years of overall professional IT experience 5+ years of experience in Retail Pharmacy systems or similar healthcare industry3+ years of experience in managing an offshore partner 5+ years of experience Managing the design, development and implementation of large scale, multi-tier, high-volume applications3+ years managing organizational development and people management, including hiring/firing, performance management, training/development, career, and succession planning1+ years experience with successfully managing delivery of IT projects in an Agile development methodology3+ years experience analyzing team and project performance to implement corrective actions when necessaryCOVID RequirementsCVS Health requires its Colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.If you are vaccinated, you are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status within the first 10 days of your employment.
