Who You Are

A self-starter, an achiever and a fast learner, you have 3+ years agency experience, interest or experience in automotive a plus. You have a proven track record of strong communication skills across agency departments with the ability to anticipate team needs and respond accordingly. You have a great can-do attitude and are eager to learn new skills. You are reliable, proactive, resourceful and have the ability to work independently to keep projects moving forward while balancing priorities for the efficient flow of work.

This position requires you to be extremely detail-oriented, strive for accuracy and timeliness in execution of assigned tasks, and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-through. You have experience managing project schedules and are able to handle confidential and sensitive business matters with discretion and professionalism. You are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.).

As the facilitator of many interactions, internal and external, you work with the team to ensure that each meeting has the appropriate attendees, materials are distributed in a timely fashion, and next steps are communicated. Communication is extremely clear both verbally and in writing. You are an expert project manager, organized, with the latest timelines, budgets, and project history are committed to memory and at your fingertips.

What You'll Do

The Business Manager is expected to manage much of the day-to-day internal agency process, while beginning to manage day-to-day client relationships. From an internal agency standpoint, organization of budgets, timelines, status documents and recaps are critical for success. In general, just making sure the agency is buttoned up on all fronts. From a client perspective, the BM should own some of the client-relationship responsibilities in the form of written correspondence, as well as verbal correspondence to help build trust internally and externally.

  • Be able to create, confidently present and defend meeting notes, client feedback, and timelines
  • Set the agenda for meetings internally and externally
  • Be ready to answer internal and client question on your projects
  • Masters trafficking, asset management, and server management
  • Ensure tasks have clear objectives, timings, ownership and deliverables. Drive projects daily.
  • Be curious about the clients business - read and digest and all client materials and ask questions
  • Monitor and be an expert in industry news, competitors business and advertising
  • Be able to bounce back quickly from difficult conversations and put a positive spin on the outcomes
  • Make friends easily across departments and make the day to day more enjoyable for the team
