  • Unlimited opportunities for employee referral bonuses -ABOUT THE JOB The Jewish Board operates 3 group residential programs that serve youth, ages of 11-21, who are placed in the programs by ACS. These programs serve youth with complex needs and significant trauma histories, resulting in behavioral, emotional, and functional issues. These programs offer comprehensive therapeutic services, permanency planning/independent living skills, and educational/vocational services. The Jewish Board is currently seeking a Senior Director to oversee the overall clinical and operational aspects of the agency's 3 group homes: Cedar Knolls House (Bronx), Kaplan House (Manhattan) and Geller House (Staten Island). This role is responsible for the overall coordination, administration, management, development and leadership of quality services, implementing evidence-informed and evidence-based practices, and developing the skills of staff, with on-call responsibilities for residential programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Providing leadership and assisting programs in achieving goals, and improving performance; Developing/implementing new programs, projects, expansions, and initiatives
    • Ensuring maintenance of relationships with partners and community
    • Collaborating with inter-agency departments on programmatic, fiscal, IT and HR related issues; Developing/adhering to program budgets, and maintaining programs' fiscal viability
    • Ensuring appropriate training and supervision is provided to all staff; Providing clinical and administrative supervision to directors and assigned staff; Facilitating team meetings
    • Ensuring compliance with internal/external policies, procedures & regulations; Managing risk regarding client safety by adhering to all risk management protocols QUALIFICATIONS The Jewish Board is currently looking for talented individuals of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:
      • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Health or related field, with corresponding licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCAT) is required
      • A minimum of 5 years of experience in youth and family-serving programs, and 5 years of experience as a clinical or operations leader/manager/director; Experience in residential programs a plus
      • Ability to assess program needs, increase efficiencies, and build teams; Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with staff members to enhance programming; Capacity to lead and supervise an array of child/adolescent focused services within residential and community settings
        • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
