Visit uapcompany.com for more information.A Project Manager, International Projects is responsible for ensuring the projects meet quality and performance objectives, and are delivered on time and within budget. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, Fabrication + InstallationEnsure that all the activities associated with the construction of a project are met from design through installation.Coordinate design activities with UAP's design team, external consultants, and client teams Interface with fabrication and installation teams to determine the schedule and sequencing of the works and to ensure fabrication specifications and quality standards are achieved Meeting with clients and vendors to identify potential barriers providing resolutions that maximize production and minimize cost impactsLiaising with multiple sub-consultants and sub-contractors to ensure proper coordination and installation sequencing Coordinating the installation of the finished product, including coordination of site work, as-built verification, and site logistics, and visiting the job site as needed and required.Understand and execute the project in terms of the contract agreement escalating concerns in a timely manner.Scheduling Create a detailed work plan that identifies a sequence of activities to be completed.Reviews plans, scope and proposals and determine proper procedures to deliver the projectDeveloping an accurate and efficient work plan and schedule for each project assigned to ensure delivery on timeDevelop, document, and communicate the work plan and any changes made during the projects.Ensuring the program milestones are clearly communicated with relevant stakeholders.Budget Management Ensure that the project runs to the contractually agreed budget.Ensure that all contractual terms and obligations of projects are maintained and that the projects meet cost requirements.Developing and maintaining accurate and efficient project budgets and ensuring budget requirements are clearly communicated with relevant stakeholdersReporting on budget status as required to all stakeholders in the projectManaging all project contract variations with the clientReviewing competitive bids from contractors, leveling scopes, and contracting the preferred contractors and vendorsEscalating barriers to achieving budget and project outcomes in a timely mannerClient Management Ensure that the client's expectations are met, including contractual obligations and creative vision.Understanding client expectations (budget, time, quality & vision)Ensuring the scope, budget, and schedule for the project are maintained with accurate and current information while managing the client's expectations regarding these outcomes.Maintaining communication with clients for the duration of the project while providing regular project status reports to the client and UAP.Consult with clients when changes occur in scope, budget, time, or expected outcome.Escalating barriers to achieving client outcomes in a timely manner.International Project Management Ensure international projects are serviced appropriatelyTravel internationally to attend site visits, project coordination meetings, fabrication inspections and installation phasesAttend and facilitate coordination meetings with international clients and partners that may be outside of normal business hours

Requirements:
Qualifications:Tertiary qualification or extensive equivalent experience in construction management, architecture, or fabricationDemonstrated project management skills as related to the design, fabrication, and construction of projects, including contracting, planning, and scheduling.Ability to interpret contract clauses, standards, technical guides and related documentation, drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.High-level problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to multitask through multiple projects.Strong understanding of, or ability to gain an understanding of, the creative, construction or manufacturing industries.High-level ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Intermediate to advanced level of the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project applications.Willingness to work as part of a highly motivated team through collaboration and communication.Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and stay focused under pressure.Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing situations and timeframes.
