About the role
Beachfront is seeking a Publisher Business Development Manager
based in New York City who will be responsible for closing new
business development opportunities with programmers, publishers and
streaming platforms. This role will be primarily focused on
securing new direct publisher inventory and new header bidding
mediation integrations in video and CTV environments, but will
require the flexibility to navigate supply related conversations
across all devices and formats.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a pipeline of and drive key new business relationships with
video programmers, publishers, and streaming platforms across CTV,
and linear addressable, and all other video endpoints, increasing
access to unique supply
Deepen the penetration of Beachfront's Unified Auction offering in
the CTV market; securing meetings with decision makers, pitching,
negotiating and closing deals
Drive Increased platform usage by programmers, closing the product
feedback loop with engineering
Work closely with BD leadership to develop and grow existing
strategic channel partnerships with industry leading companies
across the convergent TV landscape
Develop client insights, reporting, and analysis to inform and
execute new business and operational strategies.
Partner with Publisher Account Managers and sales to develop and
execute on innovative strategies for advertising clients as well as
publisher partners.
Collaborate across internal teams, including Executive Leadership,
Product, Operations, Marketing and Account Management, to create
end-to-end solutions which span all areas of digital, connected TV
and traditional TV advertising space.
Manage deal economics, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and
navigate the deals through integration with the Solutions
Engineering team.
Manage client relationships to ensure clients are positive,
satisfied and confident about Beachfront.
Meet key sales and revenue goals across publisher partners
Work well in a fast-paced environment in an ever-changing
landscape
Key Requirements
2-4+ years of Ad Tech experience in Business Development on the
supply side
Programmatic video or Connected TV advertising experience is a
must
Ability to understand and "header bidding" and unified auction
integrations (Prebid and Prebid Server) within CTV environments
Experience selling Supply Side Platform (SSP) offerings is a
plus
Strong working knowledge of online video advertising, ad serving
integrations, and related technologies (SSAI, player tech,
etc),
Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders, including
clients, partners, executive leaders, product management, marketing
and account management.
Comfort being out front and externally facing to partners, leading
conversations and pitching solutions
Persistence and creativity in go-to-market approach
Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), analytical,
problem-solving and product presentation skills.
Skilled in Powerpoint and Excel
Strong attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot and provide
suggestions on the best path to integrate SSP and ad decisioning
deployments to achieve programmer goals
