About Redesign
is a healthcare innovation platform. We bring together entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors to fund and launch companies that transform the healthcare system and empower people to live their healthiest lives. Our first companies include , , , , , , , and stealth ventures in payment integrity, elder care, and complex care. We're capitalized with permanent capital from world-class institutional investors and entrepreneurs.
About the job
We are launching a stealth venture in the tech-enabled physician services space that partners with independent cardiology groups to build the cardiology practice of the future on a national scale. Today's independent cardiology groups are run by physicians with two very difficult and distinct jobs: practicing medicine and running a business. At the same time, demands on cardiologists have never been higher. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the costliest and deadliest condition facing society and prevalence is increasing rapidly - by 2035, nearly 50% of the U.S. population will be affected by CVD, costing over $1.1 trillion. Cardiologists are expected to see more patients and provide more comprehensive care, all while dealing with increased administrative tasks, paperwork, and a rapidly changing reimbursement landscape. These trends are increasing physician burnout, lowering patient outcomes, and generating sub-optimal economic results.
Rhythm Cardiology partners with independent cardiologists, enabling them to drive better patient outcomes and economic results. Through proprietary technology and centralized support, Rhythm enables cardiologists to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time with patients. Finally, Rhythm's partnership structure allows independent cardiologists to remain independent while benefiting from the growth of a national platform.
