Job Description:
This role can be based in New York City or San Francisco .

our company-wide efforts. In this role your work will be critical
in advancing our accessibility roadmap, partnering closely with
engineers, product managers, and others. You'll also drive adoption
of accessibility frameworks across our product and establish
programs and processes that foster inclusive culture. Your work
will touch every part of our company as our team is committed
towards shipping an accessible and inclusive product for all of our
users.
This role is perfect for design leaders who live to make products
inclusive for everyone. We are looking for someone who has a heart
for the customer, a passion for product excellence, and champions
accessibility. Someone who can learn fast, understand which details
matter, and guide their team to craft high-quality experiences for
everyone. Above all, an excellent people manager who can coach the
designers on their team to do their best work.
You will be a part of the Asana Design leadership team, and you
will have the opportunity to pave the way for innovation for the
larger Asana design team in not only what we make but also how we
make it.
What You'll Achieve
Partner with cross-functional partners to establish vision,
strategy, metrics, and goals for Accessibility at Asana.
Grow, mentor, and lead a talented team of Product Designers
Help define strategy, objectives and set the vision for the user
experience to meet customer and business needs.
Guide your team, oversee multiple workstreams and connect dots
between cross-org products to deliver a cohesive customer
experience.
Be a champion for product excellence and inclusive design across
the company.
About You
7+ years of experience in Product Design with 1-2+ years in a
people management role
A strong portfolio that showcases a track record of design
leadership, end-to-end experience ownership, design excellence, and
commitment to accessible and inclusive design
Strong customer advocacy with a penchant for data and
business-informed design
