Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply Now" button and sending us your resume.A bit about us:Small but growing family owned business providing comprehensive tax, accounting and advisory services, real estate management services and attestation services to businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations.Why join us?Benefits Include:401(k) + MatchDental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceJob DetailsPosition: Tax ManagerJob Type: Full Time, Direct Hire Location: Onsite (Open to Hybrid Office/Home split)Schedule: M-F 8hrsIncome: $135,000 to $156,000Tax Manager Responsibilities:Lead client tax engagements from start to finish, including engagement planning, directing, completion of assigned tax projects, and managing the assigned projects to budgetSupervise, train, and mentor other tax associates and interns on assigned tax projects, and assess the performance of tax staff associates for engagement reviewsReview client tax returns completed by assigned tax staff and make necessary recommendations on tax return preparation regarding accuracy and applicable tax savings opportunitiesGain a continuous level of increased compliance responsibility in the review process.Prepare client tax returns for the more complex individual, trust, partnership, corporate and foreign tax clientsResearch and consult with management on various client-related tax mattersRespond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities on a timely mannerDevelop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as neededParticipate in networking and business developmentSkills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of tax and client consulting experienceCPA or parts of the CPA exam passed is preferredStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a team environmentPrevious tax return preparation experience is requiredAbility to supervise other tax staff and lead client tax projectsStrong computer software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,Prosystems CCH, SurePrep, is preferable but not required.Interested in hearing more?
