seeking an Associate Director, Digital Capabilities to join Optum
Care Marketing's digital team. This role will lead and oversee
Optum Care's digital capabilities and products in support of the
consumer facing business. -The right candidate thrives in a

keeping our patients healthy. - - This role will serve in a
leadership role responsible for defining and driving solutions for
the Optum Care digital capabilities and onboarding Care Delivery
Organizations to our products including, but not limited to:
Provider Look Up Tool, Listings, Ratings & Reviews. This position
serves as the voice of the customer when working with partner teams
across the organization to bring the products to life. - You'll
enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S.
as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- LEADERSHIP
- Hire, train, mentor and support new employees; conduct
performance and compensation reviews for their respective
teams
- Serve as an escalation point; troubleshooting issues and
removing roadblocks to ensure the success of the team, projects,
products, and strategies
- Work collaboratively with directors across the broader OHD team
and align across the organization -
- Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products,
and/or approaches
- Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be
understood by a variety of audiences
- PRODUCT MANGEMENT
- Oversee the Provider Look up, Listings and Reviews
capabilities
- Create and communicate the strategy, vision, roadmap and
priorities for their assigned products by understanding the
customers and their goals, the market space and how their product
fits and can disrupt, and the business needs and goals for the
overall organization
- Provides product leadership, guidance and coordination across
the larger product ecosystem including; product owners, research
and design teams, content teams, accessibility teams, solutioning
teams, development scrum teams and external vendors
- Create requirements for capabilities and features based on,
market insights, customer goals, business goals, product needs,
technology updates, support tickets, demo team insights, sales team
insights and client requests
- Ensure the product meets all standards and requirements
including brand, regulatory, accessibility and overall best
practices
- Create and manage analytics and metrics strategy - ensure
proper tagging for future reporting
- Make strategic recommendations to business partners - guide
decision-making based on data and analysis
- Prepare and present executive presentations for given portfolio
of work
- PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
- Provide weekly or bi-weekly status on progress, risks and
issues
- Escalate risks and issues to leadership as appropriate -
- Conduct change management activities with marketing and
business partners to ensure process and system alignment
- Gather content, technical and functional requirements
- Vendor management -
- An Associate Director, Digital Capabilities should:
- Possess high EQ and culture and inclusivity mindset

demeanor as the digital experts/consultants across Optum Care
- Be a collaborative partner, both internally with
cross-functional partners such as Digital Marketing Experiences
(DMX) and OHD team members (writers, coordinators, project
managers), and externally with clients
- Be extremely comfortable being client facing, acting as the
main point of contact for business owners/marketers from each care
delivery organization (CDO) who are responsible for digital
presence -
- Bring customer-centric approach, focused on the needs of the
intended audience and their journey while balancing the goals of
the business; Lend expertise in industry trends and emerging best
practices
- Be able to think and provide solutions that are 'outside of the
box' - OHD gets faced with new challenges daily
- Listen deeply, seek to understand business goals, ask and probe
with questions and be comfortable pushing back if clients have not
provided enough information
- Have an understanding of overall Optum Care business line and
each market's audience, customer journeys, marketing plans,
business objectives and strategic priorities to bring content to
life on the website -
- Partner with the business to prioritize requests to ensure
resources are available and needs are met by all teams
- Possess and display technical website acumen; Adobe Experience
Manager (AEM) platform experience is a plus
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Optum DMP componentry and
templates, design patterns and standards
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of Workfront and the associated
enterprise and OHD processes that are managed within the tool
- Be extremely detail oriented and organized as well as
resourceful. Seek answers to questions, do the work to ensure your
own learning - stay curious. The only thing constant is change
- Be an effective decision maker, adaptable and be flexible -
ability to deal with ambiguity and move things forward
- Add value and pitch in to help others across the team when

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of digital product and or program management
experience, leading a team to translate business requirements into
digital consumer experiences
- 1+ years of formal supervisory experience
- Experience developing and executing strategies and plans that
meet business goals
- Experience managing highly complex technical projects with
multiple stakeholders at the executive level
- Possess and display technical website acumen Preferred
Qualifications:
- Provider Look Up Product Experience -
- B2C Marketing experience
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe
Analytics, Workfront -
- Understanding of modern digital marketing principles,
strategies, and best practices for digital engagement
strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation
skills
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills -
detailed oriented
- Excellent creative problem-solving skills
- Solid analytical skills and ability to derive insights from
data to drive better decision making and planning

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range
for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for
Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based
on several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
