Liquidity Solutions team sits within Product and manages a panoply
of on-balance sheet and off-balance sheet client
solutions.Liquidity products are designed for clients
initiating/deepening a deposit relationship with SVB as well as
those deploying newly raised funding from the private and public
markets into market-based investment vehicles.Overall, the
Liquidity Solutions team has product responsibility for $190B in
deposits and $215B in off-balance sheet client investments (Money
Fund sweep, Repo, Asset Management). Liquidity Business Management
is a horizontal team that oversees the financial and operational
aspects of the Liquidity Solutions business (executive reporting,
analytics, financial reporting, trade processing, reconciliations,
forecasting, budgeting, and vendor management, etc.) as well as has
significant regulatory and risk management responsibilities (SOX
Controls, SOC1,Cayman Branch Operating Committee, Control ITM,
Regulatory reporting). The Liquidity Business Manager IV will
manage multiple initiatives and rates for Liquidity Solutions
(deposits, on balance sheet, off balance sheet) that are critical
to the success of our clients and the business. This role will work
closely with Sales, Product Managers and Corporate Treasury to
build rate strategy, develop responses to competitor or market rate
changes and ensure rates are implemented in accordance with bank
policy. This position is expected to work independently and be
responsible for making crucial decisions that impact business
success. Rate Strategy and Tactics Develop and support rate
strategies across multiple products and rate scenarios Ensure
strategy aligns with organization, segments and department goals as
well as supports client experience and needs. Obtain buy-in and
support from various key stakeholders - including senior
management, partners, and committees. Work with data analytics and
finance teams to review and forecast rate performance. Build and
manage executive reporting including presentations for Asset and
Liability Committee. Initiative Management Develop strategies and
manage enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure balance sheet
optimization through close partnership with Corporate Treasury
Partner with Sales, Relationship Advisors, Account Services, and
Operations to ensure business initiatives are carried out
successfully and support resolving concerns and escalations Partner
with Audit, Risk and Compliance teams to seek resolution of any/all
issues on rate/initiative management related activities Own rate
related policies, procedures and processes Performance Measurement
Identify opportunities for revenue growth / cost savings, evaluate
effectiveness of pricing paradigm and recommend changes as needed
to influence profitability and incentives. Coordinate and support
monthly sales performance meetings with Head of Liquidity
Solutions, Head of Liquidity Advisory, and Regional Liquidity
Advisory team leads Develop Liquidity Advisor and regional team
sales metrics and performance reporting. Build consensus on sales
performance metrics across segment business partners and client
relationship teams. Create and coordinate regular communications on
business performances through Liquidity Solutions, Clients
Solutions, and executive/ senior management. Create and coordinate
new Liquidity Solution initiative performance tracking. Build
strong connection with sales regarding business performance.
