Job DescriptionFunction background/context: Citi Global Wealth is a Division of Citi focused on serving the needs of clients across the entire wealth spectrum. It has been created by combining the Wealth Management businesses across Citi Global Consumer Bank and Citi Private Bank. It generates over $6.6 Billion of Revenue across its global footprint in Asia, EMEA, Mexico, and North America.Citi Global Wealth delivers a wide range of products and services covering banking, lending, capital markets, managed investments, portfolio management, trust and estate planning. By building on the strengths and capabilities across Citi, we intend to transform the way we serve clients across the wealth spectrum, delivering the full range of high tech and high touch capabilities Citi can offer, and ultimately help them achieve their goals.Citi Global Wealth propositions are delivered via tailored offerings across the Citigold, Citi Private Client, and Citi Private Bank brands.Job Purpose: Reporting to the Global Wealth COO, the Head of Transformation and Change Management for Citi Global Wealth is responsible for leading strategic change initiatives, aligned with the business growth objectives, executing against highly transformational and complex set of change goals.The work includes leading the definition of target state solutions, in alignment with business objectives, driving decision-making, working with process owners to determine impacts and key deliverables, and leading execution of key deliverables across impacted areas.The role requires a deep understanding and experience in designing approaches to achieve agreed upon strategic or regulatory change across a complex business landscape. The role also requires the ability to manage stakeholders successfully to oversee and influence outcomes. Additionally, a solid conceptual and practical grounding in the financial services industry, specifically in Wealth Management, with focus on wealth products as well as Compliance, Risk & Controls, Data Architecture & Data Management, or Financial Planning is required.The role requires the ability to determine approach and execution plan of a functional strategy or set of goals, and to direct program or project managers to meet or exceed desired outcomes.Key Responsibilities:This is a new role in the organization where the leader will be accountable for partnering with multiple leadership stakeholders across the firm to support Citi Global Wealth growth objectives and implement transformational initiatives.Responsible for executing an integrated approach to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute a global portfolio of complex programs. This position will have ownership over the process of coordination and execution on various target state operating models. Lead planning and execution of Change Initiative. Play a lead role in evolving Change program capabilities, communicate with senior stakeholders to ensure Initiative scope and approach meets business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the business COOs and business leads in how best to plan and execute a portfolio of changePartner with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk and other key stakeholders on the planning, execution, management, and resourcing of business line specific, cross CGW or Enterprise initiatives, managing project plans, dependencies, issues, and risksOversee and design the approaches necessary to drive multiple programs of work to a successful conclusion Ensure alignment to both functional area goals and to cross-enterprise Transformational objectives Build and manage relationships with key senior stakeholders, organizations, and business heads (i.e., Business & Function Risk/ Control Leads, Cross Enterprise Transformation Leads, Program Leads) Develop understanding of overall book of work (BoW) and support prioritization process for those dependencies with senior managementEnsure all areas of the program are appropriately staffed to meet the operational needs Ensure adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for delivery in and across the Initiative Ensure that change management (communication & training) and user experience (adoption) is a focus of every project undertakenActively manage resource requirements. Establish budgets, track budget burn rate vs. forecast and manage project funding processes as requiredProduce consolidated reporting and financial tracking for all portfolio items in the CGW Change portfolioOther Delivery Responsibilities:Create an implementation strategy for business initiatives and product releases based on input from business, product development, technology, and partner teams, including cost/benefits Develop and maintain multi-year roadmap of strategic capabilities and product build out considering business strategy and regulatory environmentWork with impacted areas to understand complex problems. Focus on bringing issues and risks to resolution; identifying solutions and developing clear options and recommendations that drive decision makingUse problem solving skills to develop custom approaches and solutions (process improvement, change management, product management, projects, etc.) that are tailored to the problemProactively engage Sponsor, Business, Project Team, Tech and Operations in prioritization and decision-making. Leadership skills combined with the ability to influence senior stakeholders formally and informally are essential.Extensive understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutionsTrack record of managing internal relationships at a senior level and demonstrated experience in leading sustained transformation effortsDemonstrated ability to think in an agile, creative, and strategic manner to evolve or solve challenges and issues and to oversee prioritization of competing responsibilities engage and effectively communicate at the senior management level, both orally and in writingStrong interpersonal skills, successful candidate will have strong influence management skills; someone who understands the wealth management business; and is able to develop and communicate a plan to stakeholders at all levels, and drive for on-time delivery
