We offer active ingredients, functional ingredients, and delivery systems from various origins. As the Marketing Manager, you will be part of the North American marketing team, responsible for growing our success and with customers based on the West Coast, in line with regional and global strategy. You will report to the North American Marketing Manager with accountability to the West Coast Commercial Manager. This role is home-based, ideally within the Los Angeles area. To be successful in the Marketing Manager role, you must be a self-starter who possesses the ability to think creatively and be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. In addition, candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills since this role will require the manager to interface with customers and influence decision makers. Responsibilities + Defining and implementing a west-coast strategy to grow the business at independent, fast-growing brands + Leading the development of marketing concepts and promotional tools to differentiate our portfolio for west coast accounts based on the regional marketing strategy + Helping customers to design stories & concepts around our portfolio + Organizing regional tradeshows, seminars and networking events + Customizing presentations based on customer demand + Creating and presenting market trend reviews to customer + Understanding west coast customer needs and market dynamic + Assisting and supporting the sales strategy in the territory + Supporting the NA Marketing Manager on regional initiatives Job Requirements + Degree in science fields preferable with good business acumen + Must have at least 5 years of experience in the personal care industry + Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing a plus + Willing and able to travel up to 20% + Creative and passionate about cosmetics + Proactive, self-reliant, motivated, and creative + Business-oriented and results-driven + Able to disseminate information, communicate effectively and influence people + Highly organized and methodical + Able to collaborate and be a team player + Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities + Strong attention to details At IFF, we believe that your uniqueness unleashes our potential.
