headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, with additional offices in New
York City, Chicago, and China.
Who You Are:
Director of Sales will be responsible for leading &managing the
sales team as well as creating strategy across the company to drive
the growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train and manage a complete team of sales
professionals
- Establish and maintain disciplined sales processes with the
team
- Expand product market to reach new customers
- Deliver against financial targets by tracking, analyzing all
sales and revenue company wide
- Prepare operational and financial sales department reports
- Create multi-year strategy and provide updates on the agreed
upon.
- Ensure sales teams completes all benchmarks and increases their
sales
- Utilize sales effectiveness to drive performance for the sales
team
- Assist the team with individual sales opportunities
- Attend and actively participate in pricing calls
- Responsible for cultivating prospects and sales
- In charge of growing the team, including hiring and
training
- Managing the office duties and staff
- Travel for meetings, presentations, and industry-specific
tradeshows
- Identify and call on National and Global prospects to maximize
revenue opportunities
- Utilize and manage our ERP system to ensure all client
information up-to-date and all activities are current
- Maintain and execute corporate reporting needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years as Director of sales
- Experience working in the consumer electronics industry a
plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in high stress
situation
- Microsoft suite proficiency- Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Teams
- Natural leader that has the ability to lead a team to
success
- Strong analytics skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proven negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
